WITH PERFORMANCE BY.. Radio Vine LETTERMAN'S OPENING As this woman becomes the voice of music again, she takes her memories, experiences and regrets this time around with love, heartbreak and innerself, with deep meanings and sounds she portrays in her next EP. Radio has went it seems on an rollercoaster with music. Back in 2010 when she released one of the biggest single in 2010 called Color Me. She was on the top, later releasing her highest topping single Beg for Mercy and taking on the role of the most talked about artist in music. Her leaving from music was the breakdown Radio later on, leaving and disappearing to take a lonely trip to the Bahamas to relive and refocus herself and came back with influences for deep and intouching soul and rock. She is a woman with vision, a woman with talent, a voice that sounds as if her life was carved into the heart of her. She takes this performance and brings you, the inside thoughts of a woman that was once music's hottest act, now at the bottom, she works her way to the top again and hopes to become a growing and glowing iconic music voice in today's music. Please give a warm woman to the talented... Radio Vine! (crowd roars) PERFORMANCE- ONLY LOVE CAN HURT The stage is dark with gold drums being seen thought the dark. A weaken struggling voice of a woman is heard, " I loved you, and look what you did to me.." A big bass from the drums echos the stage. " I didnt mean to hurt you." A dramatic one key piano is heard. " I didnt mean for you to feel this way." The spotlight is slowly becoming bright. The slow dramatic piano, hunts your soul when it becomes slower as the light shines down on Radio, standing on top of a red piano with a black long matallic material dress with her hair relaxed and dark makeup. The black lipstick stands out as her face is a sorrow, her eyes full with tears as the light shines peacely on her. She sings the first verse with a eager way, gives her heart and soul into the first verse. Boiling her fist up while singing, looking down at the piano as the dramatic piano becomes lounder and the light shines down on the drums with the bass and soft playing from the player. Radio does a sharp note then suddenly, a figure is crawling across the stage, slowly. Radio starts to sing very weak into her voice, " why do you act like you care? tomorrow is a day and we are having all those love attacks, baby, just make your way." She looks sadly to the bottom of the stage where a man with no shirt on, just pants with black eyeliner dripping with tears from his eyes, he is looking at Radio from the top of the piano. The piano stops the music. As the spotlight dims. The crowd claps.
As the spotlight slowly comes back on the stage, Rumbling is heard, loud rambling that makes the crowd look around the room, as a loud piano is heard along with the rumbling. The spotlight shines down on Radio, standing in the middle of the stage with four bodies laying around her as she is on her knees, singing a high pitched voice as the rumbling of the drums continue. "OOOOO!!!, why does love hurt us.." One body lifts up. She starts to sing the second verse as the crowd is rocking back and forth to the slow rumbing and the soft piano. She stops in the middle of the second verse to other female body that rises up, on her neck is scars. She continues to sing the second verse, reaching her hand out to the crowd with a little boy that rises up, he has dark circles around his eyes.
Radio stands up slowly in the middle as one more body is laying on the floor to sing the hook as powerful and loudly as she can, holding the mic wih tension and she focus deeply into the crowd as a red spotlight from the back, shines thought. " only love can hurt us this way.." She continues to repeat it slowly as she looks back to last body rising up to a mask over her face. A black mask with red teardrops dropping from the dark eyes. She looks back in the audience, her eyes full of tears. " OOOOO." She sings the hook one more time as the piano rises up in dramatic playing, it gets lounder and lounder as the bodies of the people dancing wildly around stage, in a dramatic matter, touching their faces, acting as if they were crying as Radio sings the hook more powerful. The rumbling goes out of control as the dancer became more crazy over the stage. Radio begins to the sing the bridge with a anger and a tension in her voice, she walks with pace towards the piano. She sings the bridge a little deeper with her voice, she knees down a little. As the spotlight goes all over the stage with more bodies laying down in the back, the crowd graps. The crowd roars when Radio finishes the long note at the end of the bridge. She stands up, singing the hook very slowly, getting up with no power, having her hands up her force to standing up. Still singing, the dancers are dancing slowly. She walks over to a big circle by the piano and opens it, a man with all red jumps out with broken hearts all over his costume. All the dancers are suprised as they are fall down when he comes out of the circle with strength. Radio looks at him, tears rolling down. He looks down at her.
When you love my pain, this was never love, when you look me in my eyes and see I'm about break down and cry. But is this REAL!, when you know the stories you tell are fake, and nothing is real. But brutal I see- you never loved me, but I'm not going to fight you anymore.
He begins to slowly go back in the circle. Radio looks back at the audience as the music stops. She walks in front of the stage where she puts the mic in the holder. Water is dryed up from the tears on her cheeks, the piano starts the play the original instrumental, she sings the last hook slowly as the rumbling as the spotlight comes all over the room to the end note of Radio to a blackout and white masks with smiles on them is all over the stage as a echo fulls the room, " if you cant love yourself, you cant love anyone else.." the crowd roars, many look shocked. The screen blackouts.
