OOC: Just getting the thread started so that it doesn't fall through the cracks of my mind. Full info to be added throughout this week. I want some more artists to join in, I think it will be fun. Send me a PM if your artist can join in on this. This can serve as the interactive thread also.

No Venues Tour

A Supermassive World Festival-Like Tour Headlined by Punk Moguls Reported Failure

Full List of Acts Coming Soon

Quote:
Basically I woke up one day and said why not instead of touring to put on a little show for a few hundred to thousand people every night for a few hours why not just throw a massive day long party for thousands of people that will have music going all day to the climax when my band Reported Failure shows up and blows everyones minds. You can't really do that at your standard club. So we're doing this world tour in random places. Big empty fields, beaches, parks, maybe the stage will be the top of a hill one day, maybe we'll be playing in a super rich fans' backyard. Either way bring some food, a whole lot of water, your moshing shoes, and your gameface. Tickets will cost you however much money you want them to. You can just show up because since we aren't playing at venues we can't really stop anyone from just showing up. Or you can purchase a ticket for anywhere from one dollar to some freakish amount that is far too much to spend, but you can anyway. Show up and have a great time.

On another note we need bands to play throughout the day. Some have confirmed but we need more. Official dates go up later this week, but the tour starts in mid November, and if you want to play on the whole thing, or just select dates, then go for it.

Hope to see you there,

Vin Peters

Opening Night Summary
Yesterday we kicked off the tour by invading London's Hyde Park. Things kicked off in the mid afternoon. our massive stage was set up early in the morning. Over the course of the day thousands of kids made it over to the park. We hung out with some fans until about noon. Then we went out to explore London a bit. We ate lunch at a cool pub. Then the shock came as soon as we returned to the park. What had been a few hundred kids before we left was now probably the largest crowd we've played in front of ever, and the first band hadn't even gone up yet.

Then Cartographer took the stage first. I wouldn't have envied them to be going up first. They killed that crowd though. Their music is certainly strange enough to be accepted and loved in the UK so that clearly affected the fact that the crowd loved them. Still before the sun started going down Arcades took the stage. They kept the crowd interested and likely won some new fans at the show.

Next the sun began to go down. while Atomic War Brides took the stage. Somewhere someone probably has a fantastic picture of them playing with the sunset in the background. The crowd at this point was getting anxious to see the really big acts, but they did enjoy the War Brides as did us in Reported Failure who mostly watched from backstage or snuck around the merch table.

As nightfall came the first up was one of the Urie's on this tour, James. He performed a variety of songs from his album Climbing. Clearly there were some fans of his already in the crowd who were able to sing along. Vin even made a camio appearance in his set to play some guitar. He did it very subtley just to screw with the crowd only part of which recognized him and cheered wildly while the rest of the crowd wondered why there was a sudden outbreak.

Next came the other Urie in the form of guitarist for Suburban Sunrise. Now the full crowd had shown up, and Suburban Sunrise didn't dissapoint. Their old hits mixed perfectly with songs off of their new album which will be released soon. Basically all Reported Failure fans also know Suburban Sunrise so the crowd was into them too. The sweat was now starting to drip and when Suburban Sunrise finished a nervousness set over the crowd.

After getting psyched up our intro began. We started by playing My Name is Freedom which will be our opening song for this tour. The largest crowd we had ever played for didn't dissapoint. Most of the crowd looked like a horrible ocean storm for the entire set. The crowd of thousands sang every word to each song. Highlights of the show were Cure To Growing Older, Disarm, and My Name is William where we set off some flames and fireworks and stuff. We performed most of the EP and PGC with some random Disarm Flux of the run, and I Know You songs thrown in. Just to screw with the crowd we left before playing I Know You. They of course called us back and we played it. It is by far the funnest song to play live because as soon as Vin jumps onto the crowd they just lose it. Only now that we have KC, Billie was also able to get into the crowd. We didn't think that just this song was quite enough for the crowd so we closed by playing the our song Everything We've Done.

After the show most of the bands on the tour went out for drinks and we had a great time.

Billie: This tour is going to be a blast I can already tell. It's especially cool to be back out on the road with James Urie who was with us on our very first tour, and also Suburban Sunrise who we've toured with a couple times before.

OOC: I'd love to do more of these so if you want to PM me something crazy I can have your band do or just what your setlist is then that would be fantastic.

Karoliena: no.no we dont. If "over the top" is based in reality, then most arm wrestlers look like grizzly adams....but with bigger beards.

Erich:*sighs and kicks the ground* fine....we'll just thumb wrestle.

Atomic war bride's tour van.

Erich here.we just arrived in manchester. Karoliena and i are having a cup of tea in our killer camper. We got it all in here, two beds,a cooktop, and a sink..all wrapped in the height of mid 60's german fashion. At the moment we are camped out in a tesco's parking lot. Feel free to swing by and say hi, we've got loads of ramen and cheap liquor...spare bed too,you can stay the night if you want.

erich:ghetto?! this is a classic 1966 vw type 2. sealing wax red and white, with the westfalia camper option. 2000cc engine, with dual weber carbs. i assure you,it is very desirable in some circles.i have half a mind to not share my metric ton of buckfast and other party favours. *opens the glove box to reveal a brick of hash*

karoliena:word to the wise, never insult erich's vehicle....if you thnk this is ghetto, wait to you see the north american tour vehicle.

erich:we woulda brought the 53 packard, but it'd been a bitch to maneuver through these little ass european streets....especially while drunk. *cracks open a buckfast for himself and passes the crate of bottles around.*

erich:*speaking into dictaphone* captain's log......dateline frankfurt. i have handed the helm of our vessel over to first mate, karoliena.

karoliena's voice in background: fuck you,i can be captain too!!

erich's voice: seems our first mate is taken to being insubordinate. this is a very unbecoming trait of her,and i will see she is disciplined at first opportunity.

karoliena's voice:that'll be the day. you couldnt fill out my fishnets, much less swing a whip with anything resembling indiana jones like accuracy.

erich'a voice: stifle,woman!

karoliena's voice: stifle?! STIFLE?! i am driving on the fucking autobahn with this ugly little van that barely tops 80! we're gonna get killed!

erich's voice: relax. that would never happen. this machine was made to carve the autobahn,it was hand built in germany. surely they wouldnt design a vehicle that was too slow for it's roads. anyway. back to business at hand. frankfurt was... interesting. of all the places in germany we go,this is where we are liked the least.we played to about 30 puzzled german bums at a train station.they were lovely people who shot the shit with us for about 35 minutes. literally.there was a neglected dog park nearby with hundreds of orphaned turds laying about. they had the liquor,we had the guns....it all fell into place. we didnt bring actual firearms to europe, they seem to be a little nervous about such thing.but we did bring an assload of nerf guns and firecrackers. some serviceable fun is easy to craft, even without hot lead flying everywhere. amsterdam is next on our journey. we are looking forward to that,as we will be stopping by erica's parlour.the premiere dominatrix dungeon run by a girl named erica hess in all of europe. we'll play a show or two there. her customers like punishment? we'll give em punishment. poorly played covers of 70's rock bands like the eagles, supertramp, rush and air supply will be served in convenient, bucket sized servings. god damn i hate 70's rock.

OOC: If anyone speaks dutch then I apologize for all of the errors that online translators probably made. Please give this a read. I spent a long time on it.

Reported Failure live @ Amsterdam 11/26/11

Fans stand anxiously. They have been outside listening to bands for most of the day. They are all squeezed as close to the stage as physically possible. The clouds overhead are thickening during the late afternoon in Amsterdam's largest park. Soundcheckers have already done their thing with all the instruments, and the crowd knows that Reported failure will take the stage soon, very soon.
UserPostedImage

Then a strange noise begins. It is mechanical with random steam noises and fire crackles. Mutters of speeches can be heard but they are distorted and almost alien like. The crowd erupts as Reported Failure's intro begins. Then the band run onstage and the crowd gets louder than they had been at any other point of the entire day.

Billie: Everyone get your hands in the air! Iedereen krijgt je handen in de lucht! This song is called My Name is Freedom

At the sound of their own language the Dutch crowd roars even more and begins to sing along to the first song.

My name is freedom
And I am the smoking gun
I start revolutions
I built America
I am misunderstood
I'm power's rebellious son

I've heard I will overcome
I've heard I will overcome
But now it's all collapsing
And I can't...

Tie the knot on the ropes that
Hold together this family
Or beat back all the demons
That try to take me
Tie the knot on the ropes that
Hold together this nation
Or take on the adversity
So you can still believe in me

My name is freedom
And I answer to no one
I was born in your hearts
Then I infected your minds
I fight oppression
I'm power's rebellious son

I've heard I will overcome
I've heard give it a few months and the war will be won
But now it's all collapsing
And I can't...

Tie the knot on the ropes that
Hold together this family
Or beat back all the demons
That try to take me
Tie the knot on the ropes that
Hold together this nation
Or take on the adversity
So you can still believe in me

I wish I could be stitched back up
That my wounds would be gone
I've had a hell of a fight
Maybe it's finally won
Through a troubled childhood, I still exist
I'm still being pissed on in adolescents
Are all these mountaintops just a mirage
Am I climbing to my death from a fall

Oh, can I...
Tie the knot on the ropes that
Hold together this family
Or beat back all the demons
That try to take me
Tie the knot on the ropes that
Hold together this nation
Or take on the adversity
So you can still believe in me

Billie: Whhoa! Hello Amsterdam! How are we doing?

The crowd erupts once more. Billie smiles at them. Then he turns to the rest of the band who nod to show that they are ready to go and playing the first song hasn't killed their instruments' tuning. They begin playing the next song which is an oldie, "Short" from the bands' second album. Although the album wasn't widely successful since Reported Failure's success new fans must have gone back because the crowd sang every word. Billie sang passionately throwing in mic swings wherever they fit and letting the crowd sing every once in awhile. During the guitar solo Vin and KC get in the zone and give a fantastic performance.

Saw the ending for the first time today
People cried it was altogether tragic
Turn all the lights back on
(Quit watching my life on the screen)
I've fallen short again
(So leave your message after the beep)

I don't care about no constitution
My personal revolution is coming fast
(It's coming oh so fast)

Because I gave up on making sense of time
I embraced all my scars so I can fight til I die
I gained a friend in staying out late and never sleeping
I never apologized 'cause I dont tell fucking lies
(No fucking lies)

Searched my mind for another world today
Like I thought that one might be better
Open my eyes to the noose infront of me
(The one tied by supposed authority)
I've fallen short again
(So send the royalty checks to my family)

I don't care about no constitution
My personal revolution is coming fast
(It's coming oh so fast)

Because I gave up on making sense of time
I embraced all my scars so I can fight til I die
I gained a friend in staying out late and never sleeping
I never apologized 'cause I dont tell fucking lies
(No fucking lies)

Because I gave up on making sense of time

Billie: I don't know how many of you will be able to understand me, but I'm going to talk anyway. There is this thing called the music business. Part of why we did this tour the way we did is because we really dont give a fuck about the music business, so we just took every penny we had and then said come show up buy a ticket if you want but we dont really care were gonna play for you regardless. Anyway, this song is about what is wrong with the music industry.

You got soul
Hidden in this remote control
you turn it on (off on off on off on off)
you got style
With your skin tight jeans
And your angsty graphic t-shirt
you take it off (on off on off on off on)

So when you walk down the street, hope you know youre doin it for me
And that voice in the back of your head, that’s me
And your words, I wrote them for you
So you can be the radio

What happened… to anything
you swear it wasn’t like this just the other day
What happened to living?
And being something just so you could say
“I’ll go my own way”

You got beat
Through some digital screen
You turn it on (Off on off on off on off)
You got licks
Through your guitar picks
You stroke it up (down up down up down up down)

So when you breathe fuck or sleep I hope you know that youre doin it for me
Every note you’ve sang, that was me
And your words, I wrote them for you
So you can be the radio

What happened… to anything
you swear it wasn’t like this just the other day
What happened to living?
And being something just so you could say
“I’ll go my own way”

Though you try (try try try try try try)
You cant escape me
I am the mafia
I am the radio
I am Sirius top 40 hits
I am the radio
I am the radio
I am the fucking radio

What happened… to anything
you swear it wasn’t like this just the other day
What happened to living?
And being something just so you could say
“I’ll go my own way”

I am the fucking radio

The crowd gets pretty crazy while the band plays "Manufactured Radio". Matt breaks out his signature stage moves which he insists are "what Michael Jackson would do if he were a bassist". On female fan manages to get onstage and takes a couple on steps towards Vin before security gets her off. Vin laughs and reaches out to touch her hand which makes her quite happy.

Vin: Damn! You folks know how have a good time. It's ok I will probably join you a little bit later.

Billie: We just put out an EP and we're gonna play some songs from it if you don't mind.

The crowd cheers in approval.

Billie: That's great! We were going to play them anyway, but I'm glad you approve. This one is called My Name is William.

Pen, paper, words, feelings
All get lost in between life and fiction
Rooftops and minimum wages
Lost families and disfunctional relationships
They all get lost
In my pen my paper
Until I don't recognize ohh anything.
It's all just morning coffee
Marble Pillars
Smoke and mirrors

Noooo
I wish I never set sail
Hey!
I should've stayed in Greece
Now
I'll just be stained on the cars below
Unwanted again

Hate, culture, waste, breeding
All have blurred the line between real and fake
Unwanted fathers and unwilling mothers
Lost causes, and forgotten sons
They are all I see
Through my worn eyes
I'm falling fast
All I see are sad memories
Painful lies
Hatred skies

Noooo
I wish I never set sail
Hey!
I should've stayed in Greece
Now
I'll just be stained on the cars below
Unwanted again

My name is William
My name is William
oooh

The crowd is now full of surfing moshing as was to be expected especially during such a heavy song in which everyone performed at the top of their abilities.

THe band goes straight into the next song which is "Chance Run Ins" also from the EP.

Billie: Let me hear you fuckin' scream as loud as you can.

Everyone in the band although only Matt, KC, and Billie are miced begin singing the acapella intro to the song along with all of the thousands of people out in the crowd. Then the heavy song begins immediately joined by fireballs on either side of the stage as the crowd goes completely nuts.

Billie: Get out of your goddamn mind!

Find a safer......
Place

Walk around this town
Full of faces
Full of places
But nowhere can I stay

Because every pretty bulding
Every wet street
Every home game
They're only reminding me...

Of how we changed our ways
The day the riots ran free

LET ME HEAR YOU SCREAM!

So how could I
Expect to see
A pretty space between you and me
A deluge of hate
On this deluge of rain
We've recieved
So how could I
Expect to see
A pretty space between you and me
Find a safer place
Find a safer place
Find a safer...
Place

I walk on a fine line
Between order and chaos
Between the air and the buildings
Between life and death

Glass shatters and breaks my skin
You cut me open
You broke me down
Just with the sight of you

The sight of how a fall to a safer place

So how could I
Expect to see
A pretty space between you and me
A deluge of hate
On this deluge of rain
We've recieved
So how could I
Expect to see
A pretty space between you and me
Find a safer place
Find a safer place
Find a safer...
Place

Chance run in with you
Chance run with my demons
Chance run with a city
Chance run in with a riot
All these things burn down to be
Another false ending between you and me

GO!

So how could I
Expect to see
A pretty space between you and me
A deluge of hate
On this deluge of rain
We've recieved
So how could I
Expect to see
A pretty space between you and me
Find a safer place
Find a safer place
Find a safer...
Place

Billie: Who wants to hear some oldies?

The crowd erupts once more.

Billie: Haha! Alright. I wrote this song with my friend over here Matt Collins. It's called Testimony! Beweeg je voeten en uit je geest!

When the world ends, we'll still be fihgting
Screaming and yelling, but no one hears a word
We'll be standing on the rooftops
We'll be watching to see a friendly face
Before we all burn in hell, I hope someone remembers my face

As I screamed my testimony from the rooftop
As I jumped my life away to prove a point
My last words remained unwritten
The memory of me, already fading away

When the sky turns black from the bombs
The world will see the scars they've made
They'll be sitting in their lifeboats
Crying for the hope of another day
Before they all burn in hell, I hope someone remembers my face

As I screamed my testimony from the rooftop
As I jumped my life away to prove a point
My last words remained unwritten
The memory of me, already fading away

When we arrive, there wont be anyone to drown out your thunder
People will see who they really are
When we arrive there wont be anyone for you to hide under
Your world will fall with the one you've destroyed

As I screamed my testimony from the rooftop
As I jumped my life away to prove a point
My last words remained unwritten
The memory of me, already fading away

Matt makes sure that the crowd is getting completely out of their minds during the song. He busts out the stage moves again and gets practically in the crowd for much of the song.

Reported Failure goes straight into the next song which is "The Call". Billie jumps into the small space between the stage and the crowd and sings personally to random fans who are near the front, touching the hands of all the fans along the way. Meanwhile anyone who wasn't distracted by the chance at being serenaded by Billie Beckett would have noticed Matt, KC, Robert, and Vin basically having the stage move equivalent of a dance off. Matt was sliding on his knees like he's Bruce Springsteen. Robert was tossing his drumsticks in the air and by the end of the song a couple of his drums had been kicked down. KC was throwing his guitar around and catching it whenever he could. Vin followed Billie and played extremely close to the crowd during his guitar solo.

I said you could run (run)
I said you could run (run)
I said you could run (run)
Away with me

You don't have to think
You just have to be
On this dead beat road with me
We wont have to hide
We wont have to hide
We wont have to hide

But I'll answer the call
to leave part of myself here
I'll keep you in my heart
But I can't breathe until next year
All the stories we swore we'd tell
I never thought that they'd be tragedies
But I'll answer the call
I'll answer the call

We would run on the sands of the ocean
We would sing until our lungs gave out
We'd lye there until the tide came to take us
The headlines would read "Lovers Dead At Sea"

You don't have to think
You just have to be
On this dead beat road with me
We wont have to hide
We wont have to hide
We wont have to hide

But I'll answer the call
to leave part of myself here
I'll keep you in my heart
But I can't breathe until next year
All the stories we swore we'd tell
I never thought that they'd be tragedies
But I'll answer the call
I'll answer the call

The band goes straight into the next song which is "My Shotgun Fairytale".

I got myself in a mess
I burn it out with cigarettes
I dream about a lifetime of hate

I find my life inside glass
On display, everyone laughs
I sink into infinite tragedies

I'm the villain in all of your disney stories
I deceive
I fight
I scheme
You bleed
But I can't stop...

My shotgun fairytale
I guess I should be turning away now
I guess I shouldn't be
Just another mindless fake ID

My shotgun fairytale
I guess I should be fixin' it up now
I guess I shouldn't be
Just another faceless statistic

I lie so much I cannot help
but deceiving even myself
I know one day it will catch up with me

I now defy the laws
of everyone I meet
I give everyone a reason to hate

I'm the villain in all of your disney stories
I deceive
I fight
I scheme
You bleed
But I can't stop...

My shotgun fairytale
I guess I should be turning away now
I guess I shouldn't be
Just another mindless fake ID

My shotgun fairytale
I guess I should be fixin' it up now
I guess I shouldn't be
Just another faceless statistic

Billie: Alright. You guys are fantastic. Were gonna play a few slow ones now. I want to hear all of you sing as loud as you possibly can. This song is called Hope to Get Out. ZINGEN!

Things calm down instrumentally, and instead of the moshing and crowd surfing the crowd is relatively calm and they simply sing. They sing and the instruments are quiet enough that every word is heard clearly from Billie and from the crowd.

This life is broken, dusty and cold
My hands are weak and I'm growing old
I wish we could drive slower
But there's a show waitin' for us in mexico
Maybe some day I'll buy a home
Settle down, start a family, and I wont have to roam
I wish we could drive slower
But there's a show waitin' for us in mexico

Say your prayers for anything
Hope that I find my way out

Please tell me that i'm something to believe in
Lie until you catch fire
Give me any hope that I wont always be leavin'
It's my only hope to get out

This road is long and uninviting
Calls to home find not but crying
I wish we could stop the circus
But the elephant in the room is a big old hit
All these miles only bring me trouble
Making it harder when I return to find the rubble
I wish we could stop the circus
But the elephant in the room is a big old hit

Say your prayers for anything
Hope that I find my way out

Please tell me that i'm something to believe in
Lie until you catch fire
Give me any hope that I wont always be leavin'
It's my only hope to get out

I swear I'll break free
I wont desert me
I've got myself in the mud
All high on the drugs
I am a wreck of a man
I've got myself in the mud
Playing games with the thugs
I am a disgrace to my band

Say your prayers for anything
Hope that I find my way out

Please tell me that i'm something to believe in
Lie until you catch fire
Give me any hope that I wont always be leavin'
It's my only hope to get out

Billie: There is this band I bet you've heard of them. They're called Riot! in the Boulevard. You know they say they look up to us as their idols, but their fire and talent has really inspired us to keep going and making music. So we've been covering one of their songs at these shows. Were going to do it now. This song is called Echoes of My Soul.

Matt: We love you, Riot!

OOC: Lyrics credit to C4AJoh
A Huge Insecurity, Burning Deep Inside
As I Try To Bury This Pain, It’s Impossible To Hide
Instead They Move Up To The Surface, Threatening To Break Free
Threatening To Tell The World, Just Who I Used To Be
---
Is This Pain Really Here, Or Is It All In My Head
I Guess This Worry Will Last, Or I Could Tell The World Instead
It Brings Me Back, To That Place And I Guess The Truth I’ll Have To Face
Instead Of Living I’m Dying Slow, Instead Of Coming, I’ve Gotta Go
---
So I’ll Make A Wish, I’ll Place It In My Heart
Everything I Want, So My Life Can Finally Start
Will It Make Things Right, Will It Make Things Real
Will It Make My Heart Begin To Heal
---
So Now That I Have It, I’ll Believe It Can Come True
You’d Think I’m Doing This For Myself, But The Truth Is, I’m Doing It For You
Because Once You Have Me At My Best, We’ll Live Together And Forget The Rest
So Those Who Say Wishes, Can’t Ever Be Real, Make A Wish For Them, In The Hope That They Feel
---
So Now I’m Singing With The Echoes
Just The Echoes Of My Soul
Feel Like A Gap Has Gone, I’ve Removed The Hole
So Sing With Your Echoes
Your Echoes Of Your Soul, Together We Can Stand As One
Together We Will Fall
---
So If You Believe What You Really Want,
Can Someday Come True
Open Your Heart And Mind To The Possibility Of It All
And It Will Make It’s Way To You
---
You May Get What Your Wishing For As Long As You Believe
So Make Your Wish Now, And You Will Receive
The World Is Full Of Magic, If You Open Up Your Mind
You Could Be Surprised With What You See
Surprised With What You Find
---
So Now I’m Singing With The Echoes
Just The Echoes Of My Soul
Feel Like A Gap Has Gone, I’ve Removed The Hole
So Sing With Your Echoes
Your Echoes Of Your Soul, Together We Can Stand As One
Together We Will Fall
---
So This Is Not The End Of Your Dreams
This Is Just The Start
Believe In The Echoes Of Your Soul
Believe It With All Your Heart

Seeing as Riot! in the Boulevard and Reported Failure both have similar fanbases a large portion of the crowd sang along to the cover which stayed true to the original version.

Billie: You know sometimes things just aren't going to well. Man life can go to the shitter or whatever the hell they call it here very fast. Sometimes life just doesn't work out how you wanted it to. people let you down. Often times the best thing to do is just move on no matter how hard it is to do. Then a time comes when moving on is the wrong thing to do. Earlier this year I moved on when it was the wrong thing to do, and well if you watch the news then you know what happened because of that. This song is about that and it's called Goodbye, My Son.

Billie sings the song with huge amounts of emotion. The crowd sings along. When Billie reaches the point where the choir would join in on the recorded version he lets the crowd sing. "Keep going!" he says to them. Overwhelmed with the emotion of the song and the location Billie's voice gets chocked up and a hint of a tear can be found in his eye as he joins back in to finish the song.

When I was young
Innocent and smiling
I wasn't alone
I had friends
I had family

Lived in the suburbs
Near Sac-Town
With my parents and my sister
We were like fairy tales
At the end when it's happy ever after

I remember my old house
Biking around
And causing trouble
Until dad pulled up
In the brand new car i was in love with

And so it went
For years and years
'Til one day
He left
He had but one thing to say

"Goodbye my son
We've had good times
Now they're done
Don't cry my son
I'm still with you
When I'm gone, gone, gone, gone, gone"

I grow up
Towers of pain crush my family
I dealt alright
Joined a good band
Started a new life

I met this girl
Beautiful Sarah
I loved her
Made her a promise
"I'll never leave you. I'll never leave you"

We just made love for days
Never wondered
Where the world was
Til the news came
Baby's on the way

The news came just too late
Just after reality
That we couldn't make it
So I grabbed my keys
All I said was

"Goodbye my son
We would've had good times
Now it's done
Don't cry my son
I'm still with you
When I'm gone, gone, gone, gone, gone

And goodbye my love
We've had good times
Now they're done
I'm not over you, love
You're still with me
When you're gone, gone, gone, gone, gone"

So maybe it's for the best
Whatever happens happens
But I think it's worthless
To feel like this

"Goodbye my son
We would've had good times
Now it's done
Don't cry my son
I'm still with you
When I'm gone, gone, gone, gone, gone

And goodbye my love
We've had good times
Now they're done
I'm not over you, love
You're still with me
When you're gone, gone, gone, gone, gone"

Goodbye my son
Goodbye my love
Goodbye my son
Goodbye my love

So maybe it's for the best
Whatever happens happens
But I think it's worthless
To feel like this

"Goodbye my son
We would've had good times
Now it's done
Don't cry my son
I'm still with you
When I'm gone, gone, gone, gone, gone

And goodbye my love
We've had good times
Now they're done
I'm not over you, love
You're still with me
When you're gone, gone, gone, gone, gone"

Billie: Whoa! Thank you. I will never forget this moment as long as I live. We have three more songs for you then we have to get off the stage. First, give it up for KC James!

The band cheers wildly for KC.

Matt: If you are going to throw any undergarments onstage now would be the appropriate time because a few months ago when we asked KC to come play some songs with us he was the shyest most starstruck guy. I remember the first thing I said to him to relieve the tension was "Good morning. How is your sex life?". Over the next week we played and then we asked him to join. I think he might say the answer to that question is different now that he has joined us.

There is a faint laughter from the parts of the crowd that understand what Matt is saying and a delayed laughter after those people explain it to everyone else.

Billie: Get your fuckin hands in the air. This song is called Disarm!

When the world's turned inside out
The sun only shines to show the bombs fall
Every minute I survive
It's another minute to watch all my friends die
Even if there is a god above
I lost my religion when I saw the war he caused
(The war he caused)

(The war everyone caused)

(We have to)
Disarm the bombs!
Try to stop the blood!
(Can't we?)
Disarm the gods!
Before our world is gone!
I wont stand up
Because I know the pain I've caused
I will back down
Because I know I've exhausted my cause

When the sky burns with doomsday flames
Finally it matches the fire burning in my soul
None of earth makes it to heaven
We're so bitter we kill just for a taste of Eden's sweet fruit
The smoke rises so thick
I hope it blocks out the light, just so I can't see the pain
(See the pain)

(THe pain that the war caused)

(We have to)
Disarm the bombs!
Try to stop the blood!
(Can't we?)
Disarm the gods!
Before our world is gone!
I wont stand up
Because I know the pain I've caused
I will back down
Because I know I've exhausted my cause

Take me to the fire
To the climax of horror
Make like a leader
And lead me to the end
Make it fast like the jet planes
All falling from the sky
The war only ends
With the destruction of day and night

(We have to)
Disarm the bombs!
Try to stop the blood!
(Can't we?)
Disarm the gods!
Before our world is gone!
I wont stand up
Because I know the pain I've caused
I will back down
Because I know I've exhausted my cause

THe crowd obeys Billie and gets crazy once more. People try to stage dive. The entire crowd gets pumped up by the energy of the song and a ribcrushing mosh pit forms. Reported Failure bring back their stage moves while watching and laughing at ridiculous things happening out in the crowd.

Billie: We put a record out last April. I bet most of you have heard of it. This song is from it, it's called The Cure to Growing Older.

Destroy… Destroy… Destroy…

Lets blow this off
And sink into our melodies
Too bad were long gone
We’ve been destroyed by our endless tragedies

The bombs go off, the war never ends
My time is up in this hospital bed
Oil and blood are all I can send
To my family before im dead

So lets destroy it all!
Lets just start over
Before we die I’ll meet you in a place…
Where we never fall
Where the world stays sober
Where these melodies are the cure to growing older
The cure to growing older

The world fights, darkness descends
We try to turn on the amps before this ends
So bring on the city streets, in the dark I welcome all
Anyone who can sing along
So steal some cars, you don’t have to go far
We’ll sing this out before the fall

So lets destroy it all!
Lets just start over
Before we die I’ll meet you in a place…
Where we never fall
Where the world stays sober
Where these melodies are the cure to growing older
The cure to growing older

Let's destroy it all
Rebuild the world
Restart the scene

Destroy... Destroy... Destoy...

So lets destroy it all!
Lets just start over
Before we die I’ll meet you in a place…
Where we never fall
Where the world stays sober
Where these melodies are the cure to growing older
The cure to growing older

Billie: Cartographer, Arcades, Atomic War Brides, James Urie, Misery Loves Company, Suburban Sunrise! They're all fantastic! If you get a chance go back to their merch tables or listen to their albums. Thanks to all of them for being on this tour which is incredible and it's just started. Thanks to all of you for coming out here. You are the reason we can do this. We houden van je! Front row, get ready, Vin and I are goin' in! This song is called I Know You!

Dropping his guitar and sprinting to the edge of the stage, Vin jumps into the crowd which will no doubt cause bruises, sprains, and possibly lawsuits. Billie more smoothly gets into the crowd with the mic singing along with the rest of the crowd. Billie and Vin both crowdsurf and join the insanity with the fans.

Running away
You say it's not what I think it is
You say "When lifes catches up
We'll see the wrong (See the wrong), the wrong we've done"

Oh hun we lack decision
Bad incisions were made
Were made to clean up all the wounds
Were made to clean up the flesh wounds
From the stab of this place

I've known you so many years
And now I know you're lying
Know you're lying
Know you're lying
And I've known you, and known this town
I know you want to get out
Want to get out
Want to get out
So don't lie to me

Oh I'm thinking of the memories
The memories of being you and me
Every single day our bodies grey closer (Every day)
We were just growing apart (Growing apart)
It doesn't matter if we share the same dreams
Cause the only way you know is to get there by selling your soul

I've known you so many years
And now I know you're lying
Know you're lying
Know you're lying
And I've known you, and known this town
I know you want to get out
Want to get out
Want to get out
So don't lie to me

So tomorrow I'm gonna start driving
Driving to a place where you'll never find me
My back will be turned and I know thats how you like it
You can find another boy who you like better
but just dont say you love him
Unless you know you can handle the weather
The bad weather

I've known you so many years
And now I know you're lying
Know you're lying
Know you're lying
And I've known you, and known this town
I know you want to get out
Want to get out
Want to get out
So don't lie to me

Don't say you love him
Unless you can run away with him
(Dont say it. Never say it)

Billie: Thank you! Thank you Amsterdam! Goodnight! Welterusten!

Karoliena verlinden beside a bus...looking cranky.

Dutch music monthly: dutch music monthly here with karoliena verlinden, bassist for atomic war bride. You mind answering some questions for us?

Karoliena: i guess...providing you can furnish me with some tea.

Dutch music: tea?

Karoliena: yea. Coffee gives stinky breath, and i hate cocaine. I need something to wake me up. Pg tips if you can find it.

Dutch music: i'll send bas,he is pretty resourceful when it comes to these things. First off,how has the "no venues tour" been so far?

Karoliena : Its fun, since every day is like a mini festival. Makes a girl feel good to get outdoors and play. All those nights playing dingy bars starts to make me feel like a mole person.

Dutch music: hmmm bas should be back by now.

Karoliena: *shrugs shoulders* he might have been kidnapped by roving marauders. This tour really brings them out of the woodwork.

Dutch music: i wouldnt doubt it. You guys seem to make everything a free for all.

Karoliena:*laughs* yeah,we bring out the best in people... even if the best involves people kidnapping and possibly having their way with interns named bas.

Dutch music: ...

Karoliena: relax. Bas is in good hands, judging from the size and design of the bras people threw on stage. Hell,i might even wash and wear some of them.

Dutch music :ew.

Karoliena: i said i was going to wash them first. Jeez. Having intimate fun with random dutchettes is fine, but the moment i wear their bras,it becomes gross? Bras are expensive, and if someone throws a cute one on stage, hell yes i am going to wear it.

Dutch music: arent they being tossed at erich?

Karoliena: he wishes.
