Discussions of Hip-Hop/Songstress Allura Silk have been very covert discussions. Many people see her as a viable source to the future of Hip-Hop but many people also mention the struggle for her to put her music out. Sure Allura has had a series of street Mixtapes released, Sure she signed a contract with Chaos Records, which later proved to be a deal gone wrong when she was dropped months later, Sure she has released a series of songs that have received positive feedback from reviewers and play from local DJ’s. But Allura Silk leaves many of her critics, the public, and fans a lot to the imagination. Now that she has signed a deal with Tric-Jam Records she leaves many with the questions of, “When will we hear something new from her?”, “When Is she releasing an album?”, “Is she invested in her career?”, “Does she have the proper people around her to take her to the next level”? The answer those questions that arise on peoples mines when discussing Allura Silk is simply, yes. Yes, she has a wonderful relationship with Tric-Jam Records, Yes, she does plan to release new music, Yes, she is extremely invested in her career and so are her team of people whom surround her. With all this being stated, Allura Silk is finally ready to take things to the next level in her career.
For months, Allura Silk and her team at Tric-Jam have been plotting how the 23 year-old Hip-Hop/Songstress will debut to the scene. After two years of recording material Allura Silk finally has a set release date for some of her material. While her album is still being recorded, Allura’s Debut E.P will be released December 20th, 2011. The E.P is called “In My Zone” and it will consist of ten songs. Allura and her label, Tric-Jam, want to make it clear that this is a debut body of work, it isn’t an official album. It is a prelude to what is to come for the Rapper. In My Zone a preview of what Allura Silk’s album will be like. The Debut Single off In My Zone is called, Bananaz. The track is an up-tempo Hip-Hop/Pop track. Bananaz will be officially released to all radio stations and will go on sale tomorrow, November 28th, 2011.   Allura Silk: “It’s about damn time! That’s all I have to say!
