Here And After

A lot has going on with ElectroDeath recently, people are talking about them roughly, about their departure, about fights between the band members, but the band has not yet given an official statement of what’s really going on with them in the exactly time. The wait is over, today the band is releasing their last single under Shooting Star Records management, a partnership that lasted over two years and made ElectroDeath sold more than they would ever think of, but just like everything ends someday, ElectroDeath is saying goodbye with no fights or struggles =, just saying goodbye in a very positive vibe to this amazing label, to celebrate all the success they achieved while they were in the label, this single will be part of a compilation album, that will be out next December 5th with the DVD of their currently tour shoot on the Staple Center in L.A.

But ElectroDeath is not only saying goodbye to their label, they’re also saying goodbye to their former member Yulia Volkova, who’s going to launch herself in solo carrer by the beginning of 2012. And this is the main plot that has been discussed around the world by all kinds of people and journalists and fans, why Yulia is leaving ElectroDeath. Now the answer is here!

The band, Magie and Lilly, wrote a statement to clarify all the doubts everyone would have about this departure.

“Hi everyone, we hope you all are really well. Recently several news and stuffs are being said about us, some are true some are completely wrong, but we were waiting the right time to come in public and finally explain the truth for you. First we want to thank all the amazing super fans we have around the world, for their support, their love, this year has been so great and beautiful for us and it is only because of you! With this we want to say that ElectroDeath is NOT OVER! But certainly, a part of our history is. Shooting Star Records is part of that history, we were so happy in this label all these years, we are so thankful for all their support and believing on us! It was such an honor for us being with them and producing amazing songs of our entire career and this will last forever, but as life has changed for us, we felt that we needed to change too, it’s a natural thing that happens with caterpillars when their turning to butterflies, we will be trying to turn to a butterfly, and to do that we need to change all the machinery, everything, but we are hoping we’ll be changing for better!

Life is a long road with different pathways to follow, so far me, Lilly and Yulia are following the same pathway, but not every time this pathway was so easy to follow, there were moments where we thought we might not make it, but we did and we’re so proud of it. But as I said before, life changes, things changes and by the beginning of the last year Lilly and I had the moment of our lives when we initiate ourselves on Wicca philosophies, this has been influencing our lives in all aspects, especially in our music. Yulia has been really receptive all this time and comprehensive too, she knows how bad my life had turned long time ago and how this philosophy made me feel happy again, so I wanna thank her for all her patience and support so far with us, but we reached the edge of this support. While producing our last album, we knew something was about to happen, our ideas were not matching anymore, Lilly and I were in a tune that Yulia will never understand, and we don’t blame her, everyone chooses what everyone wants to live, and Yulia never chooses Wicca to be her life, for two years we managed this difference between us, but now is over.

Yulia is leaving the band by the end of this year, she will fulfill all the dates we still have to perform in our currently tour in respect of our beloved fans that bought the tickets to watch us. This tour has been really difficult for both of us, but we’re doing our best to make it truthful for you and for us too, we hope we’re not disappointing you guys, that would be the least thing we wanted to do, because we own you everything, we own you the best!

We don’t regret anything we did so far, even Yulia doesn’t regret too, we were so happy in every moment we passed with Yulia, and we will keep it forever and ever! I finish this comment with a phrase of our new single, and talking about that, this single will be the last single we’re releasing with Yulia under Shooting Star Records, this makes it very special and unique, I want you all to hear it paying attention to its lyrics, Lilly and I wrote it straight to Yulia, she cried when she recorded it, it was our excuse for her.

Song Description: This is an electro house song with dance pop beats. It is not so different from ElectroDeath’s last album, there are still that hope and fresh feeling on its melodies, what would be really happy if its lyrical content wasn’t so sad and sometimes dramatic. There is a dance pop continuing beat that keeps playing although the song, house elements appears in the songs hook moments, and those moments last for sufficient times to put everyone to dance. The song has a reaming growing melody that reflects a high energy feeling to its listener. Magie sing almost the song completely alone, Lilly and Yulia only sing the chorus of the song. Lyrics are about departure, it’s basically Lilly and Magie saying goodbye to Yulia and thanking her for everything, it’s sad, sometimes tragic but there’s a beautiful meaning on its underline.
