Love is indeed all conquering for these two, who have come a long way to reach this point, growing together to the end result that they came to realise that they wanted to spend their lives wit each other.

Jason: I would say that this would be my happy ending. But, as Richard Brach once noted, true love stories never have endings. My love for you is infinite and I can't see myself ever being with another woman. There are no words to describe the intensity of love I am feeling, thus this was very difficult to write. Cassie breathes deeply, then stares into Jason's eyes.

Cassie: Jason, we can't pretend it's been an easy journey for us to get here. I knew from our second date that I loved you and wanted to be with you and no one else. But for a long time I was very stupid and pushed you away. But as the saying goes "you don't know what you got 'til it's gone." and that's very true. The last time we split up I realised just what you meant to me, and I knew that I had to have you back. But I promise now that I will make things as easy possible for you. I won't ever do anything stupid like that again.
I love you Jason Smith. I don't know of any other way to say those words, and I don't think I could tell you in words how I feel about you and do it justice.
For the rest of my life I promise that I will be all that you need me to be. If I need to change who I am to make things work, then I'd do that for you. Because a marriage is all about compromise, and I would do anything for you.
Most of all though, I promise to be there for you. I can't even think of anything that would make us ever be apart again and I promise that for the rest of my life, i will be yours. I promise to love you forever, and to be everything you need me to be.

Maddie mouths "just got something in my eye..." to the person next to her and takes a handkerchief out of her bag, quickly wiping a tear away.
