By now you've probably figured out that I'm releasing a Christmas EP. If you haven't then I'll let you know; I'm releasing a Christmas EP!No label or anything. Just some songs that I wrote and recorded and will let you download for free. If a label wants to pick it up and release it then be my guest! I'll be leaking all of the songs soon. 1. Merry Christmas and I Hope You Die Alone This song has a very jazzy intro with saxophones and everything, but then I start ironically singing and they stop. Instead there is a cool bassline that I wrote joined by bongos and a ukulele. When I sing the bit about bells there is the sound of bells ringing in the background. A full drumkit along with an acoustic guitar join in for the chorus. The bells play very sweetly which really makes the chorus to this song what it is. That's basically the song. The brass instruments come back briefly during the bridge but that's really all.

Thank god! Yeah it's christmas again! This song has a really awesome guitar intro that is kind of blusey yet poppy and played with a warm tone that works perfectly in a christmas song. The bass is powerful and skullcrushing. I beak out the piano in prechorus. A very happy melody plays on it before the chorus in which an acoustic guitar joins along with a tamborine. The electric guitar plays a fun lick throughout the chorus. Then during the bridge everything stops and there is a clap beat as I demand that everyone with money puts their hands in the air so that I can show everyone else who to steal from. That is basically the song. This is one of my favorites on the EP.

So we can be alone together this december This song starts with a chipper bell melody joined by xylophones and an acoustic guitar and bass. THe bells die down as I begin singing the verse but everything else remains making the atmosphere for the song. Vocals are relatively simple. I wont pretend I have some incredible range. The chorus brings in the drums and ends up being pretty darn catchy. Nothing too complicated about it though. THe bridge has a long xylophone solo which was really fun to write and then record. The solo is happy and melodic and definately gives the song a christmas vibe. That's basically how the song is. Hope you like this one. It's pretty short and simple.
