Scott: The hype surrounding this band always amazes me. I don't think another artist has ever been as heavily hyped as Riot! Fully deserved though. Truly awesome.

Hey what’s up, people? How’s it going?

I hope you all had happy holidays with the special people in your lives, family, friends, Non-human friends, strangers etc. We here at Riot! Had a very enjoyable break from recording, we headed back out home to Vegas to spend time with our families, it was nice to get away from the studio for a few days but, like all good things it must come to an end and the hard work starts again on this coming Monday but we have good news for you all, the album is almost done, we’ve got a couple more tracks to finish up with from the record but everything should be completed within the next couple of weeks. We’re all really looking forward to getting this record out there for all of you awesome people to judge if it was all worth it, we certainly think it was worth it … would it be too arrogant and egotistical to say that we’ve created our masterpiece? … Meh I’m gonna say it anyway … “WE’VE CREATED OUR MASTERPIECE” … suddenly I’m starting to regret saying that haha but it’s out there now, all that’s left is for you all to judge :P

So once the album is out there on February 5, 2012, we have an incredible world tour lined-up, seriously it’s gonna be something special and you won’t wanna miss it, we plan on touring for the majority of the 2012 and possibly even in 2013 too, our plans beyond that are pretty unknown right now but we’ll try our hardest to keep you ‘sexy’ people updated on all things Riot! and everything else regarding The Boulevard and such :P
Oh and we should also have the lead single from the album released sometime in January, so keep your pretty little eyes open for all of that stuff too, interviews and magazine articles, festival performances and a number of other things will surely be happening in the next few months, so it looks like all systems are go and the hard work will continue throughout the next year.

So that’s all for now and since we there won’t be another blog from us in 2011, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year, I hope 2012 is a good one for you all

Eilidh: When I read "non-human friends" it took me toooooooooo long to realise that you actually meant like pets and stuff! I was thinking OMG ZOMBIES! lol. Can't wait to hear what you are gonna do though. My big sis loved your debut album last year, she played it all the time! I was a little too immature for anything with a guitar in it at the time, but I will listen to your next one :)
