The O2 Arena, London, UKTour: What You've Been Waiting For
Openers: Sammy Griffin, Desiree Shapiro, Isabel
Headliner: Cinzia Ricci
Audience: 23,000 of 23,000Coming fresh from her quadruple platinum debut album, What You've Been Waiting For, the proclaimed "Queen Of Club Music" Cinzia Ricci and her right hand man DJ Night embark on their first world tour, with the first date being in the United Kingdom at the O2 Arena which was packed out for its first show of the tour with a highly anticipating crowd.
After some early viewers get settled in, already in excitement for what they will get, the stage already being a major reason why the fans may get excited. Its quite huge, with a main stage, and a runway like pathway that ends somewhat in the middle of the arena, as well as DJ Cloud getting a beautifully designed DJ set above the main stage. For the beginning of the show, he isn't present and Sammy Griffin, gets the responsibility of opening up the show first.
Sammy GriffinIts always hard opening up the show first. Everyone knows that, the crowd isn't exactly full, and a lot of fans aren't sure of the exact set list of the show. Many people found it odd that the Grime artist, Sammy Griffin would be joining Cinzia on her tour. But once you think about it, its a perfect opportunity for Sammy to earn more fans on a different market, as well as add something different to the tour. This showed.
Sammy is a beast on stage. If you thought he was insanely talented with the small club concerts, imagine how he would be with stage props, lights and etc. And a lot of the fans just showing up to his setlist came into a treat.
You would also be surprised by the fans that were present for Sammy as they came early enough to see him live and the crowd was really excited for him for the most part, proving that Sammy has an ever growing fan base in the U.K, where he's based. And let's stick with the highlight song of his performance of Please Don't Go. When he performance this, the arena is already some what crowded and everyone in the arena gets really excited for the song as they start dancing and rapping along. Its one of those cases where you go, I've never known the artist who made this great song but now I do, and their amazing! For the rest of the setlist the crowd is much more hot, as well as for Your Real Disguise that has became a hit. Sammy posses a great way to get the crowd jumping, and loves interacting, making him much appreciated and his setlist really became an opening success.

8. Bad Blood Desiree ShapiroBy this time, the arena is nearly packed out, and late fans should be upset with themselves as they would not want to miss this next act. Desiree Shapiro. Desiree fits perfectly with this tour. She's electronic based, she has a past with Cinzia and she also possess the drive and hunger that Cinzia possess as well, making them "distant cousins" in a way. Her setlist starts with a video of her, the stage more lit up, and adorned with props and light works, making Desiree's set a lot more visually special then the act before, automatically setting the hot crowd into a burst of cheerful screams as most of the crowd are house lovers.
Desiree is loved by the crowd. We don't know if its because she's a house act or there are fans in the crowd ready for her to take off as well. She's introduced with a large amount of love from the crowd. Where she starts off the setlist with her debut smash hit Killer In Disguise that could easily be made the highlight of her setlist. Soon as those opening keyboard tones came in, and the synth driven beats hit the PA, the crowd automatically. knew the song, started cheering loudly and sang along key to key. If anyone thought Desiree was losing her heat, or her fans. You are so wrong that you may just run away like a scolded dog.
This makes Desiree happy, and for the most part edges her on to give her all for the setlist along with her new DJ Thunder, which makes the setlist also loaded with new songs. These songs, although not known by much of the crowd, they still cheered along and danced as the electronic lovers are in the crowd. Another major highlight of her setlist was Ketamine. Her last hit, with much of the crowd singing along as well and the crowd now packed enough to use the runway like pathway, and Desiree does this as well after a quick interlude. With Ketamine going and her working the pathway the fans are highly excited to see the stage light up.
For the rest of her setlist, Desiree really got the crowd really pumped and exposed herself as a great performer as for the rest of the show, now all the fans want to do is get up and dance!

IsabelWith such an appreciated act going before her, this raises the bar for Isabel. And for the most part, Isabel played a part in the sold out crowd as to a surprise many of Cinzia's fans are also Isabel fans, and a lot of Isabel fans are Cinzia's fans too. So it works out perfectly for any viewer. But as Desiree leaves the stage and there is a quick intermission, it is easy to say that Isabel was also made for this tour.
Although turning over to electronic/house music recently, she is really appreciated. Not only by Cinzia's fans but by her fans, heavily. And it really conveys that Isabel has a very devoted fan base, that many probably know now, and if you didn't know and you bought a ticket to the What You've Been Waiting For Tour, you probably realized.
Much of her setlist was also visually beautiful, with all of the stage props, lights and such all being set up and ready to go, as is used for Isabel's setlist. She is really pumped, really an excellent performer and had some outfit changes, used the stage a lot, interacted with the fans.
By this time, the crowd is alittle tired, which calls for the beautiful ballad Isabel sang which all the Isabel fans knew, and the fans that didn't know the song would stare. This really gets the point across that some strong Isabel fans are present! A setlist most of up tempo songs really has the now, packed out crowd ready for more.
The highlight of the setlist is hard to choose as it is full of much appreciated hits. We'd go with Blast My Music, the opening number, then we would go with Lose It Summers Not Hot as the crowd really went for this track, or Rain On My Parade. But we will easily go with her closing number In This Life (Shadows) as this was the best vocal and performing number as Isabel really gave an A+ performance of the song, and the crowd went bonkers for the track. This is a huge song people, if you didn't realize. Now, the crowd is fully sold out. Many cheer for Isabel for a long time as she ends her setlist.

Cinzia RicciIts hard to believe where this year has taken Cinzia Ricci. Would anyone expect her to have a #1, quadruple platinum debut album which is still selling today, or number one singles, or even the title of Queen Of Club Music. Let's be honest as a lot of us did not expect it. But what we really weren't expecting was for her to bring in the new year headlining a sold out tour packed with 40 dates, and millions of fans all together. That's what beats a lot of people about Cinzia, it just happened so fast.
The sold out crowd after a quick intermission, fans start really anticipating their star girl. With some growing eager and chanting her name. After a few minutes of wondering where she is, we finally get an answer. As the intermission is going, other popular House/Electronic songs are playing as everyone settles back into their seats and out of no where the lights shut off completely. Sending a chain of insane screams and chants from the crowd, as they know what time is it now. Automatically, DJ Cloud's DJ Set area starts lighting up with different neon collars as well as a spotlight put on him, as he stands up from the set area and puts his arms up in the air, this makes the crowd start going wild once again as he greets the crowd "WHATS UP LONDON!!!!!!". The lights cut off once more and out of no where on the many PA systems in the room, a video of Cinzia shows up. It has her face looking serious, just from the video, the crowd starts going wild as she stands their, an eerie beat behind her "I Will Keep FIGHTING, NEVER STOP ME. WELCOME TO MY HOUSE, WHAT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!" She says screaming the ending words as static hits the screens and DJ Cloud shows back up, unleashing the opening techno like beats from his area, and the electric chord having the crowd start clapping and screaming, its a long intro, so all they are waiting for is to see the Queen Of Club Music.
With the intro continuing for the first minute of the song, Cinzia starts singing strongly as she rises from under the stage as the stage opens up in a nice glittery short dress, and hair curly, as the crowd breaks into an unforgettable cheer as fans throughout the entire arena start screaming, cheering for their idol as bright lights flicker throughout the arena making the "rave/club" theme even better then thought. For the opening number, Cinzia, along with her backup dancers give them "What They Have Been Waiting For" as she walks around the stage greeting her fans putting her hands in the crowd as lights and different visual effects go around the arena as she sings the song, along with the crowd.
You would think What You've Been Waiting For was released as a single but it wasn't, as it seems like a crowd favorite with 90% of the crowd singing along with it (guess most of the crowd has the album?). She continues the show with Fist Pumps From Florence making it such a rave/party atmosphere and continues on with Crying Till I'm Smiling the uplifting and beautiful song that she goes by DJ Clouds set and sings to him showing her appreciation, making it a beautiful part of the show. She ends the first part of the song, getting up close and personal with dimmed lights and just a spotlight as a slowed down ballad version of Ride Of a Lifetime is performed. Yet another song that has the crowd fully behind her as they sing every word. As that is done, she goes off as DJ Cloud works his magic as DJ as he plays some really interesting house tunes as he mixes them as Cinzia is off getting an outfit change and straitening her hair for about 8 minutes. She comes back on for WICCA, STRONG and Explosion which appears on Den's album and two other tracks off the album. She goes off for another outfit change and comes back for the final branch of the show giving us a never before heard track, Dangerous. Cinzia also talks to the crowd alot as she sits down after Dangerous and says " You know London, I cannot believe I'm here right now, its like its all a dream" she says laughing with the crowd cheering. She then drops the microphone, turns around and Pon De Floor begins as this is a full on dance routine with Cinzia playing the drums as well with fireworks as she shows her great dancing skills. Another highlight of the night is Italian Hearted, the crowd fully falls into the song as they scream all the words. Cinzia has nothing but a smile on her face for the entire show, and a sparkle in her eye.
The final Encore, Te Amo, she is joined by DJ Cloud as they walk down the pathway shooting out Tshirts that say "Te Amo - What You've Been Waiting For Tour" with a shirt shooter as Cinzia sings the song walking around with DJ Cloud and a final dance routine and a loud belt screaming Te AMOOOO with fireworks, lighting and such bringing the show to an end as the crowd give a final cheer and Cinzia runs around the arena blowing kisses and saying thank you to the fans.
The fans get alot at this show, a rave/club like atmosphere featuring the Queen Of Club music Cinzia Ricci, want a more in dept experience? See a show for yourself!!
