Biography
The Wildflowers are an American Alternative Rock group, they formed in 2011. The Band consists of Tyler Jackson (Lead Vocals and Guitar), Jakob Perry (Lead Vocals and Guitar), Lucas Armstrong (Bass Guitar and Vocals) and Josh Dalton (Drums). There was reported interest from various labels including, Junction Records and Studio 60 Records, but in the end, they decided to sign a one album deal with Shooting Aces Records in 2011 with an option for a 2nd and 3rd record but the label closed before the young band could release anything.

They’re influences are predominantly British influences, bands like The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Kinks have been mentioned as heavy influences but an obsession with The Beatles is embedded into each member. They are also influenced by Classic Rock bands of the 70’s and 80’s including, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Kiss, Led Zeppelin, Rush and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and more modern acts like Fathers Of Fury, Reckoner, PANIC! And Suburban Sunrise. They’re primary songwriter Alex Perry-Jones is heavily influenced by singer-songwriters like, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Lennon & McCartney and Van Morrison.

They signed their first ever record deal with Shooting Aces in February 2011 and they initially planned to release their debut album later in the year with some reports hinting at an August 2011 album release. They were added onto the 2011 Just Another US Tour alongside bands like Suburban Sunrise, Infinite and Fathers Of Fury. But after their label Shooting Aces closed the band separated for a while to focus on other things before meeting in October 2011, they decided to get things back together and are currently looking for a record deal.
