   Amanda Rose Murphy was born on November 15th, 1994 in Camden, London, England to an English mother, and a Jamaican father. She grew up in Camden living with her single mother when Amanda's father walked out on them when Amanda was only 4 years old. Struggling, and barely getting by, her mother made sure she was able to support both herself, and Amanda while being a single parent.
As Amanda was growing up, her mother was quite awaken to her daughters talents when she reached 7 years old, when she was more actively singing. The powerful voice young Amanda possessed at such a young age just blew her mother away, at just seven years old giving her mother the thought that their was a potential star in their hands. To further improve Amanda's naturally forceful voice enrolled her into different singing lessons, and from there talent shows at schools that she attended. If their was a talent show, Amanda was singing. Many of Amanda's hometown fans constantly encouraged the singers mother, and Amanda to seek getting a record deal but Amanda's mother (who's name is Janice) was non to pleased to do so since she felt her daughter was too young for the harshness that the music industry brings.
Now at 17, and in 2011, Amanda enrolled into Music 4 Youth, a musical camp to mold up and coming stars and although much of the officials felt that she didn't need much "molding" she stayed in the camp to learn more of the craft and earn more knowledge and even got an early gig as an uncredited vocalist on James Urie's song "I'm Not Dead". In the camp she was also known for her sweet nature and loving attitude. But now Amanda wants to break out into the music industry more forcefully. Bringing her timeless voice to the beautiful tunes of Soul, Neo Soul, Jazz, Folk and contemporary pop music she hopes to to join the wagon of her biggest inspirations in Alicia Lena, Ryan Ross Hernandez, Katie Coyle, and Maddie Rameau with influences from Adele, Duffy, Amy Winehouse, Estelle, and Florence Welch.
