Amelia Liv was born in Houston,TX where she was involved in a heavy formed of a drug family where most of her Liv side of the family was dealing drugs to make a living, many of her family being apart of the drug trade and mafia. Amelia was always the very scared one because her father will deal drugs in and out of her mother's home when Amelia just started to turn the age of six, trying to make a living for the family. He will also trade and run a drug market to put the family in good money terms, making deals with the cities most dangerous drug dealers. Amelia always had a very high and deep voice, even growing up thats has she will talk, sounding as if she was a boy with a sweet side to him. Amelia had a lot of soul and passion at an early age, always writing and speaking speeches about soul music and she believed so much in uplifting and power and soulful clubs with unique instrumentals. At the age of nine, one Sunday morning when Amelia was on her way to church with her grandmother; A police call was called that her mother and father was shot in their home just minutes before Amelia pulled away. Amelia couldnt do anything about it, her mother was shot in the stomach, but only survived three minutes after the emergency came.

Days after, her uncle; the main dealer in the family was put in prision for life after murder charges; Amelia felt she didnt have anyone left and took a toll on her as a young child, having issues with social and trust issues, even since then been putting up a guard on people and society and that's where her soul comes from deep in her heart, singing very high hymps and New Orleans and detriot, from Chicago soul, with the deep instrumentals and the meaninful songs, hearing the pain or happiness, the suffering in their voice. Amelia always had the feel of a artist to where she will always take her feelings out on music, writing down in daries and journals and turning them into lyrics. Her grandmother, Sussie took her in after the death of her parents, taking her to Dallas TX where she met her grandfather for the first time. Her grandfather knew how to play the piano and at the time, Amelia songs were all piano and horns music, very mellowtoned and soft. He taught her how to play the piano then she will perform her material for the family on hoildays, always hearing that rasky voice influences by Eryka Budu, Jill Scoot, En Vogue lead vocalist (Terry Ellis), Foetry and Laryn Hill. The funk influences that will carry on the happiness of Amelia's aggestive spirit was carried on by the heavyweights of funk music, the Isley Brothers, carrying a rock and soul sound to the iconic woman of rock and soul Tina Turner and Prince.

She did attend the Music4Youth, but stopped going after four weeks after feeling like the school wasnt for her and family promblems back with her grandmother and her aunties, after discovering one of her nieces has cancer. Amelia left to discover her music on her own, now working with her music. She is very determined and strong minded about archieving her music, by getting her story across.
