 Protégé Records is having a competition to find it's first new signing. This competition will be broadcast live on television. This competition is Live & Unsigned. L&U is all about finding talent that hasn't yet managed to find it's way into the music industry, and lifting this talent to a platform where it can release music on a suitable level to that at which the artist wants their music to be released. So yes, L&U is just another talent show; but its a talent show where you can really see what the artist is all about. We want the artists to be able to play their own songs, so that they can get the fans that they deserve, rather than us trying to get the big money in (unlike X-Factor). The format for Live & Unsigned will be as follows: - Week 1; All of the entrants will perform one cover song to the audience. The next day, the Top 5 Acts will be released to the public. - Week 2; The Top 5 Acts will perform again, this time they will perform another cover song and an original track for the audience. The next day the Top 3 Acts will be released to the public. - Week 3, Part 1; The Top 3 Acts will perform another two tracks, at least one must be an original song. After the artists have all performed their two songs, voting will open to the public. - Week 3, Part 2; The Top 3 will all perform a duet song with a famous artist who has given their time to help this new talent. After all of the performances, the voting will close and the winner will be announced. The winner will be given a recording contract at Protégé Records. Who Wants In?!

We currently have one participant, i need at least 8 really if this is gonna work, it can be a original character, but they must be unsigned and have not released any more than a single or two |
