Ah, just wait a few days for a patch. They should fix a problem like that within a few days to a week. Although with the Mac, I'm not so sure. Playing games on the Mac is kind of like reading a dictionary with a telescope.

I'm afraid to own a mac computer, OMG sounds like a thread.

Works fine for me, the only problems I've had are with my own dimness. =] Like the map view thingy, so easy to leave the house, and yet still keep an eye on everyone you're living with. Also like the new "moodlets", so much easier to understand why you're pissed off than wants/needs.
Not sure about the create-a-Sim thingy - it's very good, but it takes a long time, and some of the things (like favourites) seem a bit pointless.

fuck this game.

so i made sure everyone in the house had a job (the youngest kid went to school), and since they're too busy reading their books, showering or eating when at home i decided to get a maid to do all the other stuff (cleaning etc). unfortunately i also decide to paint the entire house while the maid's there, so -- okay, fair enough -- he steals a mirror and runs off, as i couldn't cough up the dough. my character, rövlar, is pissed.

the next day the fucker returns yet again, and i order rövlar to fire this guy, but when it turns out i can't pay up he decides to steal something yet again -- even though he's been there for three minutes! he stalks off, into the bedroom, and steals the entire computer set -- chair and desk included -- right through the wall (the things were in one of the opposite room). it's just that another sim, rövlar's wife marie, is currently occupying the computer when this goes down, and thus his theft results in her being stuck at the same spot for the rest of her, er, life.

after a while i just typed in "moveObjects on" and deleted her. now rövlar is hitting on a fine-looking woman from the military.

other than that, cool game.
or maybe not

Neither with me on the 2 (on the 1 it happened all the time). I had to use codes once to see how the robbery was like.
But once when I was playing Open for Business, a costumer stole something from my store and ran away.

I don;t know if you guys remember but you know the Sims Superstar game, they should remake it for the Sims 3. It was a pretty neat game.

But the weirdest thing that ever happened to me was when I looked the family tree of my sim (I created her) and it showed she was a relative of one of the pre-made families. Picture (my sim is circled in red):

Nope, Windows XP.
There's a camera option to take pictures and make videos. Although I guess I used the Print Screen SysRq for that picture.

Why? Because of screenshots? Either it's built into the game, or you press the Print Screen key on ANY keyboard, and it'll be copied to the clipboard, so you can open up paint and paste and there's your screenshot. Not unique to XP. It's been around since 95 or earlier.

First of all, no not because of screenshots. I can do that with the actual game.
Second of all, because like many people say XP is easier to fix than vista
Third, I know that its been around, all I'm saying is I rather have a XP than a vista.
