I'm putting another one on.
Won't be backing Brighton but 'Boro and Cardiff could be good shouts. |

Only reason im backing Brighton is because i may be there next year haha. Nahh, in all seriousness their a good team but probably the real dodgy team in the bet. |

So Real and Barca tribute teams were playing a game today where I practice. I wanted to practice with the Barca team but they wouldn't let me. However, the Madrid team, despite their professional counterparts, were really cool guys (speaking conversational Spanish is useful as hell). Since I hadn't practiced corners since no one could play with me, they let me take 10. I scored from 4, assisted from 3, and the other 3 got heads on them and shots on target. I'm really improving, this spring season I could potentially get around 5 assists or so off set pieces and probably scored a few free kicks as well. Does anyone else play? |

I play for my local team. Our season won't continue til' around March now but i haven't played since September because i broke my wrist playing for my school football team. I play right back, and for the best part of a match i just defend, although i do love attacking and helping the wingers out. Looking forward to playing a few more games actually, soon. |

My games don't start until April and practice starts in march. I play attack mid in the classic "Number 10" zone between midfield and the strikers. I'm usually the metronome for the team because as we're American, only a few of us have good technique. Mainly me and the striker and wingers, however only the striker drops back to help create chances. I have a decent passing range and take the set pieces, curling is my specialty. I basically just try my best to mimic Zizou or Pirlo |

But I just wasn't good enough and i was to shy as a kid. I panicked a lot on the pitch when i was younger. Thankfully that has gone now, and im much more composed. I love hitting corners but don't ever ask me to take a penalty, im awful. Ive always loved wing back, because it fits the bill for my height and weight. IM around 5"11 which is a pretty good height for wingbacks. |

I'm too heavy to play pro but I do play in a league in spring and fall, I'm working on conditioning and losing weight atm. I'm like 5'10 so size wise I can play in the middle of the park pretty well, I don't get pushed of the ball or anything. |

Jordan Rhodes take a bow. What a talent. Five goals last night to take his tally to 27 in just 23 games this season in all competitions albeit he is playing in League 1, that is still an incredible feat.
I would be over the moon if Everton signed him. We are 1 of 8 premier league clubs sniffing around him. It would make my day if on February 1st, having Rhodes on the back of an Everton top was possible. Keep your eyes peeled for this kid. |

Hmm seems like Tottenham are just too strong for us at the minute. We have tried but just lack some serious creativity in the midfield and quality up front. |

Proud Villa fan right now, amazed that we held Spurs tonight and survived relegation. Happy Villian right now.

I'm proud of my team. 34 games undefeated in the league. 1 loss all season, in the 2nd week, 5-1 to Hamilton Accies. Whcih we avenged 5-1 last weeked. Promotion to the SPL for the first time in our history.
Ross County are the first ever team to have played in the Highland League to make the top flight of Scottish football. What a team. |

The same goes for us (Everton), we've been scrapping around the top 8 for the past 5 years or so without making any real progress. Although in Jelavic, we now have a goalscorer. Someone who will put in 15+ a season. If we can secure a winger and centre mid this summer on the same wave length as him and keep hold of who we currently have, there is no reason why we shouldn't be challenging Newcastle/Spurs for 4th/5th next season. Optimism. |

my brothers and i love soccer/football! we are big fans and we really watch every game there is on the tv, would love to watch it live though we never get the chance and the money to. anyway, i am torn between Manchester city and Barcelona. they are such good teams that they make every game worth watching to. it really is exciting to watch the games since you never know when a goal is gonna be made, it is so unpredictable making it super exciting!
