After her success from her previous singles, Desiree has made the mark on her career as being this over the top, energetic and fun performer on stage, giving her fans club and house music with signature and unique messages to her party themed song. Along with her powerful vocals, Desiree's music was a hip, strong and everlasting unforgettable dupstep and hip-hop flavor that go along with that bad girl style to her persona. Ever since her departure from the music industry, having her album Shapiro Pop underway; she still confirmed to Billboard that a whole another movement of hip-hop and house music will be presented on her new album, Houselution that Set the Blaze is the lead single to invest and go crazy with her new style of energetic strings of party music. Being on the All I've Ever Wanted Tour with her new lead DJ, DJ Thunder (producing her new material for her new album) is presenting nothing but fresh material on the tour, with a whole new setlist and some of her old fresh hits that makes her this act today. DJ Thunder has made is going to make this girl a nationwide superstar with her vocals, style and great persona that makes you feel Desiree is just a girl next door with a hot flavor of dance and hip hop taste in her body. Her love for partying and house music grows deep in this new single that will have you wanting to set the blaze with her out lavish vocals and amazing concept that was recently performed on the tour.
At the beginning of the track, we hear expositions and starting of fuels of fire as many voices of screaming is heard as the launch off of the beat is beginning to building up to Desiree's soft and sexy vocals in the beginning. At the beginning at 0:18, Desiree starts with the first verse, giving you high pitched vocals, but yet controllable. Thunder gives you a sharp and toned bass that goes well with Desiree's vocals also to the excitement of the effects of screaming and fire in the background makes the track seems to have a personality, giving Thunder his signature of making you feel you are already at a party while listening to any of his tracks that he produces. At the hook and chorus, Desiree's vocals seem to be screaming, like she is just having fun in the moment and people are screaming the background vocals of the previous words she will say. After a while, a group of people in the background of the music starts saying, " Set the Blaze, set the blaze" and we hear a exposition goes off to the beginning bass. We can hear Thunder in the background DJing as he spins the records fast, making it a hip hop club movement to the switch up of the beats, making it futuristic movements and rhythms with Desiree's voice. It seems the crowd will be fist pumping as the Desiree slows down her vocals at the bridge, giving you the concept of starting a fire to get the party a little hotter to start a bigger party to have the night a rememberable one because of the energy of the people. The song goes on to repeat the hook, the song gets more energetic to Thunder's spinning of the records and making the effects crazy. It's more of a freelance song where they put in severel effects to make the feeling real of the mixture of genres from Hip-Hop, House and Electro. At the end, severel expositions and fuels of fire is heard as Desiree returns to the soft and sexy vocals ending the song with a boom. Sounds Similar:
Avaliable January 21st! Hook: Make me feel the temperature rising on me, I can feel the fire taking over me. If you grab me, I wanna say, (make make me) feel the blaze, fuel of my desire, keep making it hotter. I dont wanna go home tonight and regret the time I had, tonight we are going to set the blaze, keep moving the feet until the floor blows me on the bass when the music is down low and the temperature is hot for sure.
