How have you been? How has the weather been treating you? Well I truly do hope so. Its' been a few days since we released information on our follow-up effort after our debut album. Hope people are a bit happy about it, just a few announcements that should bring in some happy thoughts:

  • We're proud to reveal that Real Okata, a Producer has been working with us on the EP for quite a while. Side A is completed and we're currently recording Side B: Anchorage.
  • Our very own Winston Marsh is appearing on Big Brother later on this month, recording will most likely be completed by the time he makes his appearance.
  • We shall be performing at Total Annihilation 5 on the Nomad Records stage. So if you're English and want to see a preview of a few songs on The Great White North, then check us out. Or come see Hayden since he's on the same stage as us, it's really up to you.

    (@Hayden) Well, you are on the same stage as us and the most famous musician on it currently, so I'd imagine people would flock to your shows moreso than ours.

    Surprise. Is this the "Great White North" EP? No, it's a full-length album instead, still releasing on the same date and everything, it's just that we noticed that one of the six songs we recorded for it would be broken up into multiple sections, so we decided to stop shirking on the small stuff and just make a full fledged album. Hope you guys like it.

    OPEN on a shot of the night sky, and a young man (played by Winston Marsh in this scene) lies on the grassy ground of a hilltop, asleep but mutters sweet nothing as a low violin crescendo begins to play over the scene.

    "She said she was going far away from me. She had no choice really."


    A booming voice says over the violin, almost in a whisper though still loud. This voice is recognizable as Winston's. The violin's playing ends prematurely, a clock's ticking taking its' place.

    Series of Quick Shots.

    - A young woman (Renee Belmont) looking into the sea from the edge of a boat. A dark look in her eyes as she then looks up to the pitch-black night sky.

    "She spoke in hushed whispers, I knew something was wrong but for the life of me I couldn't do anything to help her."


    - Winston lying on the grass hill top, zoom in on his closed eyes.

    - Three men walk along a snowy mountaintop trail. Each with a walking stick, each wearing a cloak of some sort to combat the harsh weather blowing against them. The head of the three men throws his hood off, looking into the distance, this is Paul Glover and he looks into the night sky. Pondering something.

    "She's gone now. She's gone because of me, my damnations falling upon her, the husband's sins falling on the lovely girl he married..."


    - A boat rampages against waves as a storm ravages the waters. The ship's various workers struggle to assist in an effort to battle nature, but one man sits, he looks up to the night sky and with a grin he stands, and looks straight into the ocean's maw as a gigantic wave prepares to swallow the ship whole. This is Greggory Marsh.

    "She's gone now...but she won't be for long."


    - Finally, end on Winston. His eyes opening as he stands, to find five men surrounding him all with guns on their hips. Winston looks from man to man and then finally up to the night's sky and with a grin he slides his hand down to his waist.

    "It'll be a hell of a fight to get her back."

    Howdy campers,

    We've got two bouts of bad news for you, the first is from me. After a bit of a mix-up we actually are without a label, we thought we were signed to Nomad Records but it turns out we aren't, and it was a really big mix-up. So, we're still scouting for labels, and I think our performance at TA5 really spoke volumes.

    Hey,

    The album IS NOT finished recording, its been a bit of a rumor on the web, but recording isn't just running into the studio, throwing down like 7 tracks and then releasing. There's a huge process associated with it, and we're not finished with it yet. We are, however for the most part, done recording the first half/disc one of the album.

    That said, we're proud to announce that we'll be releasing one of our favorite songs that we've recorded so far, The Great White North via SoundCloud in the next few days. I hope you guys enjoy it, and I hope you all have a great February.
