there are a lot of people on here who know a lot about different things...

so does anyone know of a patch to let me use my zen with Itunes? i know on a Mac it happens automaticallty, but for some reaosn they decided not to let it happen with a normal laptop or computer (damn apples hide) and since ive bought a zen after getting fed up with ipods, im annoyed, its taking me a lot longer and a lot more hassle to get my tracks onto it, simply because im shite at organising my music, and i have albums mixed up in folders etc etc...
I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they are like:
Hey, what are you doing here?
and im just like:
Oh you know, hunting elephants

The easiest advice is to stop using iTunes and start using Windows Media Player, but if you prefer iTunes... I have no idea. As far as I can tell, it should work with any mp3 player, unless you're talking about iTunes purchased music. If you can set the mp3 player up as a portable hard drive, it should work.

Wow.

I thought the consensus opinion these days is that the only thing wrong with the iPod is the neccessity to use iTunes?

i hate ipods, and love my zen. Possibly the best thing i have bought in the last five years or so...

I have read online that the Mac can do it with itunes, so why not on a laptop, bloody apple... BAh

my problem is tranfering music from ipod to computer, it mixed up All the tracks, so i have folers like VCDJUFBEF with one song from twelve different albums on it... which makes it very hard to re-organise...

That should work, it removes the protection from DRM files (such as .m4a) and should sync to any mp3 player. I believe you can use the free trial, so don't get sucked into paying the forty dollars just yet.

Yeah, but if that re-encodes the files into a different format, then don't do it. That'd be like pointing a video camera at a TV and calling it a VCR.
