The Saga...Continues is the official sophomore album of R&B/Rap/Pop sensation Chloe that will be released on December 27th, 2011 on Studio 60 Records. The album will also feature confirmed production from longtime collaborators The Wolverines, Alicia Lena, Ramon Omari and new production duo No Evidence with Chloe working, for the first time on her music, as the executive producer. The singles so far released off of the album have been, as a promo single, Grand Theft Auto featuring musical powerhouse Tisha Jackson in September of 2011 that, without much promo managed to break the top 10 on the radio charts as well as the Digital Charts. The first official single off of the album was Liberation which was released on Novemeber 13th, 2011 and shot up to #1, giving Chloe her second #1 single following WTF ft. Miss Vanity from her debut record, following the massive momentum of Liberation, Chloe wasted no time releasing the second and current single off of the debut album entitled 24hrs ft. Sammy Griffin which was released nearly a month later on December 11th, 2011. 24hrs, just like the debut single also soared to #1 on the charts giving Chloe her 3rd number 1 single, and second consecutive #1 single to date on one album.
"I wanted a record where every single song that is heard on the album is enjoyable, special, has a meaning and for one, I want the listener to feel that every song on the album could be a potential single. I feel like the sophomore album is the most important album of any stars career and its best to put your all into your second album because it means so much. I finally feel like the product that I have always envisioned, has finally made its way to perfection, and I just love the album. I put so much into it and for the first time I got the chance to lead the way, figure out what direction I wanted to go with the music and what I wanted the tracks to consist of. Different Elements Of Chloe was exactly as the title says. But with this album, it has much more direction, emotion and meaning and my "Saga" is only continuing and getting bigger.
I didn't make an album that consists of different genre's just because its what I want to do. Its because its who I am, and it fits me best. I see other artists following my direction, who do it just because it sounds good, but its much more deeper than that for me. Its what people know me as and where I shine brightest. This album is not your typical album, its a Saga, my adventure, my chronicle"
Chloe arose to fame much earlier this year as one of the most versatile acts in recent times, cosigned by many artists alike when she blasted on the scene with an attitude of "An urban act that's much different than anyone else" seemingly being able to "swim" into many different genre's like it was nothing, yet it made so much sense. She proved this with her debut single "Cupids Twin" off of her debut album. Cupids Twin was a relentless dancehall track that soared up the charts into the #3 spot and eventually many figureheads credited the England born diva for reviving Dancehall music in her song. This however was just the beginning for what would be an amazing next few months for the star. Her debut album "Different Elements (Of Chloe)" showed the many artists how versatile she actually was and even did a track with the late and great Miss Vanity entitled "W.T.F" that eventually became one of Chloe's biggest hits giving her, her first #1 and went on to win Best New Artist at the 21st annual IMA's and finished it all off touring with mentor Alicia Lena, ending in early September, Chloe also toured with Tisha Jackson just a month later for the U.S leg of her world tour, all while recording her highly anticipated sophomore album which will be released this Tuesday.
PRODUCERS
William Grach & Emily Smith aka "The Wolverines"
No one knows Chloe better then the two above. The Wolverines have been with Chloe since the start of her career producing much of Chloe's debut album and most of her hits. The duo is known for giving Chloe the captivating sound in her music and when shes working with the Wolverines, nothing but good things seem to happen. This time around, Chloe appoints the duo once more to produce a strain of her tracks for her sophomore album.
Alicia Lena
Alicia Lena has always been a mentor to Chloe, from the time they were touring together where Chloe joined the stage with Alicia Lena for a few special nights of the Waking Up Tour. Following then, the Soul/Pop legendary singer began to support everything Chloe has done and started to some what take the star under her wing. It was no surprise that Chloe would be working with Alicia on a couple of tracks for Chloe album, that will more then likely show a slow, and more soulful sound of Chloe, which the star has shown us she can maneuver as well
Ramon Omari
Ramon Omari joins the party of producers as well, being hired by Chloe for the album to give her a more "urban" sound. This was first heard in Grand Theft Auto where Chloe and Ramon took a risky approach with the Urban/Alternative Dance song. He returns once more for the album giving his urban edge of music making for the Urban sounding and very versatile Chloe. No Evidence
The underground production duo made up of Tinie Hughes & Christopher Blake, No Evidence was discovered by Chloe after she scoped the globe for producers that no one has exactly heard of, that could give her an underground, Grime, industrial, breakbeat sound on her album and after searching she found out about No Evidence that have been slowly building up a rep in the U.K. Come to find out, the duo, is also very versatile much like Chloe being able to put together underground music, to a more mainstream sound in Soul, R&B and Industrial Pop, and although virtually unknown, they hit the big time signing onto Chloe's sophomore album production list as well as being responsible for the Breakbeat/Grime worldwide hit 24hrs, the second single off the album. It comes as no surprise that they will expand their efforts on more tracks for Chloe, and probably further. Tracklisting1. The Saga Continues (prod. The Wolverines) 2. Triumphant Love (prod.
