OFFICIAL WEBSITEShort Bio:Thomas Wheeltser aka Tom 'Helldog' Wheels is a british metal musician and was born in London, England in 1969. He is best known as the founder and lead guitarist for British metal act Hellspawn and the 80's hard rock band Wildstate. Tom has also collaborated with Seventhsign as a Guest vocalist and manager. In 2010, after releasing 7 studio albums, Hellspawn disbanded due to internal problems between Tom and David Hoster (vocalist) and in April 2011 he confirmed a new project, Blood On The Nile alongside with his brother Jason (ex-vocalist of EvilBreed) and Ex-Seventhsign guitarist, Mike Wesperth. Their debut album, "Release The Beast" was set to be released in June 2011 through Tom's own label, Hellwheels Records but it was never released and the band didn't say anything. In January 2012 Tom released Unreleased, a compilation free-album. In february he confirmed his return to the scene signing to Black Tie Productions and then released As My Life Ends, the first single as a solo artist. His first solo album, Born The New Messiah was released in March 2012. After the release of the album, Tom decided to take another break from the scene but he confirmed a new solo album would be released sometime before 2015. Absolution & Hunting The Weak songs released:The unreleased singles from Blood On The Nile are now available as a free download for all of you! ABSOLUTION [5:12] Tom wrote:Absolution is a very heavy and dark song...It scares me (laughs). This music for the song was written by Mike, Jason and me and it’s highly influenced by extreme metal but it’s a mid-tempo song, it has a very black metal feeling because of the backup screams and the very heavy guitar riffs. It has also a lot of sudden rhythm changes, courtesy of Mike. The lyrics were written by me and I finished them in one day. It was the first song we performed together as Blood on the Nile, in my home and it was going to be our second single after Hunting the Weak. I really like this song because it’s different of my classic songs for Hellspawn: Features a wide variety of sounds and we put a piano segment there, played by Mike. Lyrics:
False prophets lead us to a world of mass destruction Make us believe their lies of absolution But now we rise, rise up from destitution We won't surrender, we shall never fall!
The Killing Season has begun...
Fake Heroes, false leaders Predicating fate in devastation Fake Priests, false prophets Predicating lies of absolution
Fake faith inspired by endless lies Sins washed by their evil hands Holy sacrifice, we’re blind Shattering our minds!
Guitar Solo: Tom
Pre-chorus: The time has come, rise up from destitution We won't surrender, fight the persecutors The time has come, rise up from destitution We won't forgive, kill the persecutors
Chorus: No more minds desecration We have risen from damnation We have freed our destination They have known devastation
Guitar Solo: Mike Guitar Solo: Tom
We will stand tall defiantly, never fall We will fight tirelessly, never fall We won’t feel the agony, never fall We will free our destiny, never fall
Eyes have seen...Seen the darkness Hearts have felt...Felt the sadness We have seen...Seen the darkness We have felt...Felt the sadness
Pre-chorus: The time has come, rise up from destitution We won't surrender, fight the persecutors The time has come, rise up from destitution We won't forgive, kill the persecutors
Chorus: No more minds desecration We have risen from damnation We have freed our destination They have known devastation

HUNTING THE WEAK [4:38] Tom wrote:Hunting the Weak is a chaotic song...Very fast and heavy, very 80’s Thrash / Death metal. The music is devastating with a lot of fast riffs. This song was written by me, music and lyrics. I think music’s good, it has a good variety of heavy guitar riffs, but I hate the lyrics. I think the lyrics for this song are real shit and I was 3 days writing them. I was completely blocked when I write this song and then I wanted to re-write the lyrics but the new lyrics were worse! Returning to the music, it has a similar structure to the first songs I made for Hellspawn: Fucking Classic Thrash Metal and it kicks off with a destroyer 4-parts-guitar-solo by Mike and me. Working On New Album:What's up guys? I'm in my house in London writting some stuff for my new album...Yes, new album! My debut solo album will be released this year but no date is confirmed. It will be released through Black Tie Productions and I'll be playing lead guitar and singing (yes, I'll sing for my new album) but I have to find some drummer, bassist and I'm really looking forward to make some collab...It's confirmed that my brother, Jason, will be singing in one track but I really want to find other artists too. So if you're interested or know somebody that could be interested, e-mail me (PM me) and I'll answer you as soon as possible. Keep Metal! Edited by user 28 January 2012 08:10:43(UTC)

First Review of Unreleased Compilation:Hey guys the first ever review of Unreleased is here...Taken from the Justmetal Magazine. Well...It's not a very good review haha, but It's still a review. Justmetal Magazine wrote:Well this is a new compilation album from Tom Wheels (guitarist of the never-award-winning british thrash band Hellspawn) and it contains just 36 minutes of heavy and thrash metal. The only good things on the album are the Blood On The Nile tracks (Absolution and Hunting The Weak) which we have never listened before. The other 8 tracks are demo or live versions of previously released tracks. The other good thing is that you can download the album for free from Tom's website. So if you are his fan you have to download the album but if you aren't...Well, download it for the last 2 tracks.
Production: 3/5 (Good mixing and mastering) Artwork: 2/5 (Just a guitar on fire) Songs: 3/5 (The BOTN tracks save this album) Overall: 3/5 Edited by user 30 January 2012 01:47:04(UTC)
