Not much has been heard from the R&B songstress for a while and many have been wondering where she has been and what she has been doing. Well we can now happily confirm that Chanel is set to return to the music scene with a brand new single titled 'Wet'. The singer has been keeping tight lipped over her new album, in fact she kept it so well hidden that we didn't even know she was recording anything!

Chanel, who is known for her soulful R&B jams, goes down a different musical route this time round with 'Wet'. Speaking exclusively to Culture Uncut on the song and her upcoming sophomore album, 'Woman', this is what she had to say;

"I've been really busy these past few months writing and recording stuff for this album. I wanted to kinda do a contrasting sound from my debut album 'Born Into Music' which was a pure soulful R&B album so when doing this album I was thinking to myself 'That music I did before was how I was born into music and now I want to show how I've grown with music and show a different side to me'. In December, I finished recording an album but I wasn't entirely happy with it and I mean a full mixed and ready album that I could release tomorrow if I wanted to but something just wasn't right about it so I scrapped it and started working non-stop since then and now I'm finally happy with the result. The final outcome was a completely new album bar one track called 'Ghosts' which is still on the new album. The reason I chose 'Wet' as the lead single was because of how it represented the album as a whole, not genre wise because 'Wet' is a heavy club banger of a track where as the album isn't all dance, it actually represents the album lyrically and atmospherically because it is in your face, full on and quite raunchy and tongue in cheek which the whole album is like. The album will be titled 'Woman' and is set for release in early April, I think..."

The track is set to premiere on Chanel's official website sometime this week and the music video is set to follow soon after. We've heard a snippet of it and we can say that it is one track that will get the adrenaline pumping. 'Wet' was written by Chanel herself and produced by upcoming talent (A)Rhia.

Rumors are circulating that the youngest and most reserved member of Weekend, Dustyn Blue, has been doing the dirty deed without anyone knowing as notorious party girl, Holly Dunbar claims that she is carrying his child. Holly states that she and Dustyn met in the Dirty Bastard Hotel & Casino and had a quick fling in the toilets of the bar. This story may be true as the boys and their manager, Lyrica Ocha, are regulars at the bar and even have their own table reserved.

However, last night during a live Ustream session a viewer asked the boys if they were still virgins. All of the boys apart from Dustyn stated that they weren't. Holly says that she was watching the Ustream and when she heard Dustyn deny his sexual encounter, she picked up the phone and called Culture Uncut.
