Strobe-lights, flashing mirrors and for the first time since we left Ithaca, I felt it. It, rising up against my stomach like butterflies wanting to pour out of my lips and spread their wings towards the sun. It, the feeling that I'm not ready, that I'm not supposed to be here. The feeling that we aren't good enough, but worst of all...the feeling of homesickness. 7:19 PM, it almost feels like Faking Our Own Destiny is ripping through their set at breakneck speed. What am I doing here? How am I going to stay together, this is nothing like the Rock at Rio, these people might actually be here to cheer you on. What will happen if I disappoint them? 7:20, almost time for sound-check, almost time for the butterflies to fully bloom. Time to face my fears. - Laura Paige Miami, FL was a hard show to be truthful. The first show of a tour always is. The tour-bus is quiet and no-one seems to be talking to each other, Lily seems a bit upbeat though and the Faking Our Own Destiny guys raise more questions than friendly conversations. Still, this isn't about Tour-Bus relations, this is about the show. Highlights: A guy asked us to play Free Bird, it was hilarious. First time its' happened and all we could do is shrug and Pete entered a distortion-happy version of the classic. We got cheers. The crowd seemed really happy about the variety of songs we played. Got to test out some new material. Bad Points: Had a few mic problems towards the beginning, our first song, Bagniokeeper had to be stopped halfway through. That's the strong overview of it all, I hope everyone was really happy and I hope everyone catches our next Florida show. Setlist: 1.)Bagniokeeper 2.)Summer Camp (Summer Camp cover) 3.)We Will Become Silhouettes (The Postal Service cover) 4.)Wayward Heart (New Material) 5.)Tiny Outlet Shops

She sat down and reached over for the remote to turn on the television for a great Drama movie. Searching through the channels, she happened upon the Disney channel where the world premiere of "Radio Rebel" was showing. Harmony: Oh snaps! I forgot this was coming on. Heck yes. She sat there staring deep into the television, randomly laughing at funny parts and parts not so funny too.

She had some paper and a pen lying next to her which was filled up, every inch of the paper, but she didn't bother to look at it anymore. It was as if she was in a different world at the moment. Metal was laying in her lap asleep.

"This tour is pretty nice so far though, this tour bus is insanely nice. I can't believe it has a TV, just right there. Waiting for me to watch it."

Lily heard all the commotion outside and smiled a little. She was glad that everyone was enjoying themselves, at least she thought everyone was. There was somewhat of an awkward silence sometimes on the bus but it didn't bother Lily. She rather enjoyed the quietness, that was how boring and dull she was.
