  Cristina Lake and Katie Coyle to record 'a song about the industry'
With only a few days gone since her official announcement that she will be making a comeback to the live performance and recording industry, Cristina Lake has been in contact with Culture Uncut to let us know that she is set to record a "commentary about the industry" song with another star who has had a difficult time with the press and the attention they give her over the past year and a half.
Lake said that, ahead of her return to the industry, her management worked hard to thrash out a deal to allow her to record a duet with troubled lesbian teenager Katie Coyle. The returning singer said that she was pleased to be able to record a duet with another singer who had felt the wrath of the mainstream press in the past.
Likewise, Katie said that she was really intrigued to see what the two could come up with in the studio, saying that she hadn't realised that Cristina had gone through similar issues as herself.
"Cristina, and the whole problems she had with Jack Frost, was really before I had ever got started in the industry. When we had a chat on the phone about recording, I felt so sorry for her, and I could immediately relate to what had happened to her, after what I went through. I have a feeling that between us, we will be able to come up with a wonderful song."
The song in question, as of yet untitled, is to be, according to Cristina Lake: "An uplifting commentary about how we have the power to control and ignore what they say about us. But it's also about how this media circus is almost impossible to escape from."
Further details on the track are expected very soon. |

Katie: Yeah, Isaac, I am still a teenager haha. I'll be turning 20 in the summer, I'm getting old :P Yeah, I know what you mean about not dissing the papers, but this isn't going to be like this. The track is going to be a sort of triumphant "say what you like, because we are strong girls, and we've cried too many tears over what you have to say, now we can get over it." We hop people like it when it comes out :)
Awww thank you Erica. Aww yeah, I have a bone to pick with the industry haha. On the other hand though, they did give me the chance to record the biggest selling song ever...so I can't be too upset :P

Cinzia OVER packs out Seattle Night Club + Could Be Facing Serious Fines. House sensation Cinzia Ricci who rose to fame last year and is currently on her sold out What You've Been Waiting For Tour as part of the U.S leg, recently made her stop in Seattle, Washington tonight where she'll be performing at an sold out date at the Key Arena tomorrow night. But tonight she gave a chance for any one who didn't get a chance to buy the tickets in time for her one date stop in Washington to see her. She was suppose to make a surprise appearance at the big Trinity Night Club, but some reason word got out and spread like wildfire that the Italian princess would be appearing. Of course people took this as their advantage to see Cinzia, but no one thought it would get packed out as it did, as the club capacity was exceeded by a scary 30% with sources saying "their was literally no room to breathe!" and "People began pushing through the crowd, and past the front entrance, even the bouncers weren't prepared for this!". Cinzia performed her hits... the platinum selling European Expedition, her latest #1 with Buzz & Hype, The World Is Mine, and other mega hits like Italian Hearted and Ride Of a Lifetime. Although the crowd was going bonkers, the club owner wasn't and might be taking repercussions against Cinzia Ricci citing a major "fire and health risk" and wasn't too happy with Cinzia's gesture toward him when she was leaving the club saying "Im not here for him, I'm here for my fans, thanks for packing this bitch out!!
