This is the second single off of Raven's upcoming album, "Trending Topic", which is scheduled for release this spring. It highlights as the second single from Raven. The song first debuted on z100 radio station on February 15, 2012, and has since garnered generally positive reviews from major sources including Billboard and Rolling Stones. Raven included this track on her set-list for her performance on "Loud and Clear w/ Fitzpatrick. The video to the single has already been scheduled and is expected to premiere during the first week of March. Raven, Den, and Giselle have been praised by the press since the debut on the z100 radio station. One source stated, "An obvious hit, club banger, and chart topper! Something all ages can definitely dance too!" Song Description
"Kick 2 The Floor" was originally written and produced by Raven J and was only performed by herself. Her manager, including Black Tie Productions representatives, convinced Raven that the song was missing someone and encouraged her to look for guest vocals. Her manager, Sean King, contacted Den's management in hopes of him featuring on the track. Den and his management approved the offer without hesitation and soon afterwards, Giselle's management was contacted and she approved to record and input her vocals onto the track. After the recording process, Den improved the sound of the instrumental, adding the robot voice and more. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Sound Like
The song's instrumental and chorus starts off with a computer robot repeatedly saying "Kick To The Floor, Bring It Back Once More". After the robot sings the chorus, Raven starts to her lyrical rampage, following the chorus once again. After the chorus, Den starts out his verse, the second verse, with a catchy tune and some catchy lyrics. He ends his verse to the song saying " 'Cause I'm kicking to the floor Bringin' it back once more". After the robot sings the chorus again, that's when Giselle comes in singing her verse starting of with saying "Hello Boys!" Her verse starts out with catchy lyrics, tunes, and melodies, and ends of with her singing the main line of the song. After the chorus is sung by the computer robot once again, Raven ends off the song with the last verse, then ends with the chorus.
