"Well I can't believe that I am here, about to release my debut album. It has been a long time coming and after knock back after set back after delay I can now finally say I'm happy with where I am. This album is a musical representation of who I am, it sounds crazy at some parts and out of control and other parts are really deep and meaningful to show that yes, I do have a soft side and not just some kooky pop singer.
Originally, it was titled 'Trending Topic' and I created the cover art and everything for it but looking at it, the title sort of gave off the impression that I was so up myself and thought that everyone was talking about me and should be talking about me. I'm not like that at all. I really feel passionate about my music and so I named the album after one of my songs I love; 'XOXO'.
It will be released on March 10th and hopefully people like what they here. I know that my EP was met with mixed reviews and I was sort of upset but now I don't care. I make music that I want to make and if people like it then I'm really happy and if they don't, well I just won't focus on those people. I have always tried to be a fun and positive person and I hope it shines through on the album.
I would like to thank everyone involved on the album and I would say all of their names and give them the credit but the list will be endless plus I have the memory of a goldfish. A quick thanks to my featured vocalists; Den 'The Man' Walnut, My girl Giselle & Ozzie boy, those tracks would be nothing without you!
Finally I want to say thanks to my fans that keep me going. You make me smile everytime I get a tweet from you or I see you in the street and because I love you all so much YOU get to pick which singles I release from this album!" xoxo, Raven |
