Writing & Recording:

The song was written by Mike and Dave about the US Government and its conflicts. It's a very political song and the lyrics were mostly written by Dave. It was first recorded when they were a two-men-project but was re-recorded a week ago with the new members. They recorded it on the LoudHell Studios in New Jersey, USA.



About the Song:

"A good song. We wrote this song against the US Government. I began writting after the Irak War but finished it last year. I think the Government won't like this song too much haha, but we don't give a fuck. We have a lot of political songs for our debut album and this is one of them. The music is very heavy / extreme, influenced by bands like Sepultura and Blood Of Wecz. Hope you like it!" - Dave Moreno.

It was very funny to record this songs taking them to a metal style. This is a covers EP featuring just one original song. We really like the original versions of this songs and one day Mike said 'Hey we should record them in a metal style' and it was a great idea. Lily's track is a rock / metal song but the others are all more pop-oriented stuff so it was hard. With In Love Alone we changed some things in the intro to make it darker and we put like 3 guitar solos. The version of Funkin Me is a lot heavier and darker than its original version, there Mike uses a lot Growl voices and Dave sings the chorous. Our Shame version is very similar to the original one, we only changed the ending. Beautiful Mistake was a really challenge...We had to write guitar and bass parts and we had to replace the electronic beats with the drums, it was very hard and the version isn't very similar to Vanity's one, but we think it's good. Dangerous was hard too, the original song features two woman singing (Giselle and Glamazon) and we had to replace them with Mike and Dave...Hear that. In I Love You we just take the original song to a heavier sound plus Mike singing like Cassie...YOU HAVE to listen to that.

Cassie: No problem Mike and I wouldn't say that "I Love You" was one of my greatest songs lol. It never charted at all but fortunately the remix with Mandy did extremely well. Thanks to Buzz and Hype and Mandy. Nice choice, I wouldn't answer back to her either. The way to kill haters is with silence.
