Pictured above are 6 very important people, well when it comes to music that is. These are the people that now run Black Cat Records and are set to take the small time label to an all new level. Acts on the label include multi-million selling group; Teen Titans, pop starlet Victoria Black an upcoming girl band Venus Girls.

When the label was originally launched by couple Kendl & Gabriel Djoh, it was a small family like label which was home to relatively new small time artists. After discovering they couldn't cope financially the Djoh family sold the label to Storm member and feisty female; Zoe Thompson. Zoe then revamped the label; signing Teen Titans, Storm, Stephanie Fierce (before parting ways), Victoria Black and the Venus Girls. Being well known for her short temper, Zoe infamously dropped her own group; Storm, from the label. The ever proud Zoe has still not spoken to her former band mates since. Now, however, Zoe admits that she has made many mistakes since taking over the label and is getting into financial trouble. Step up 5 new music lovers!!

Ms. Thompson hired a few select people to help her run the label and make it bigger than ever. Her new second in command is the straight talking Donald English. He deals with finance and also runs the whole label when Zoe is having a lazy day off. Next, there is the lovely Sabrina Ventura. Her job may sound weird; basically she is like a therapist to the acts, a shoulder to cry on when the going gets tough. She will run workshops on how to deal with pressure and will make their time with Black Cat as enjoyable as possible. Patrick Horan (Zoe's boyfriend) is now the label's own producer. He has great talent and knows what the next big thing is! Then there is Adele Silverton. Adele is the stylist to all the acts, she will work hard to make sure everyone looks there best and will help create unique styles for the acts to make them stand out from the rest. And last but not least we have Preeti Denters. She is in charge of promotion for all of the acts and liaisons with other labels to try and organise musical collaborations.

E-Records Offers Contract to one hit wonder band, The Eager To Party Scholars


This just in, that label heads over at the fast rising label 'E-Records', who are all currently in the misc of signing new acts to their label through a relentless scout search is now in the misc of signing a band that some of us have heard of, 'The Eager To Party Scholars'... an electronic/indie band that not only showed us an unorthodoxed type of music, but a very interesting story

The Eager To Party Scholars are made up of siblings Martha Wittmer & Jacob Schwartz. The siblings grew up as part of the Amish county in Pennsylvania. Meaning they had no use to electricity and most of all music. After sneaking out one night over boredom, they came to the real world, saw the great lights, music and people and spent the next two years plotting an escape from the Amish County of Lancaster. After hearing about AATW Season Two, a show which founded stars featured the duo eventually made the show and became a force to be reckon with before the show was cancelled. After the show the struggling pair began working off the platform of the show exposure and began recording music, as well as losing their old life in the Amish county. The pair released a track entitled 'Moonstruck' in early 2010 independently which surprisingly hit #7 on the Top 20 and eventually got them signed to small label 'Shooting Aces Records' and appearing on The Underground, and then becoming an opener on Michelle Green's The Voice Of Me Tour in 2010. After releasing a free Digital EP, the label eventually closed and The Eager To Party Scholars have gone into obscurity to pick up the pieces. But Eager To Party Scholar fans, the sun might be rising for the duo!

The siblings are reportedly in talks to sign a record deal with E-Records as The Eager To Party Scholars were chosen as part of the label's globe quest to find Electronic Music's promising acts for the label. Two years later after the Eager To Party Scholars faded, Why wouldn't E-Records not like to sign them? They are still fresh and are capable of earning plenty of new fans other then their cult following and surprising chart success with their single and their rising impact following on.
