ARIZONA BLUE BOOM IN POPULARITY OVERNIGHT AND START RECORDING
UserPostedImage

Today saw Rock 5-piece Arizona Blue leave for the city of Bath, England to begin work on their debut album.

The band, who started work this morning have confirmed via drummer Matt Cole's twitter that progress is very good already, with all guide tracks and three drum tracks already recorded.

Cole also revealed on his twitter that they will be posting a studio diary at some point tonight.

In other news related to the band, the midnight release of their new song World Of Fire saw over 8000 copies downloaded in under 24 hours when the sales count was taken at 3pm today, when the band were contacted with this news, guitarist Dan Johnson said on behalf of the band they were "over the moon" with the news.

"When we released our second EP [2010's self-titled release] we sold 500 in a week, the number does not at all seem real to us and we're almost too certain this is just the distributors fucking around with us! But it has made us work even harder than we already are on this album, it's kind of shit us up! Because I don't think we had realised how much our fan base has grown, 8000 singles is insane! And that's the UK alone because that's the only country it's available to purchase in right now, and the fact that it's expected to rise over 10k tonight is even scarier!"

This is, of course a figure that would make some artists laugh as they've sold more full albums than that in less than one hour, however Arizona Blue are new to the game, and are coming in strong.

Look out for Day 1 of Arizona Blue's studio diary coming soon.
Arizona Blue are:
James Elliot - Vocals
Liam Miller - Guitar/Vocals
Dan Johnson - Guitar
Lewis Harley - Bass
Matt Cole - Drums

THREE HUGE NAMES TEAM UP FOR KONY 2012 SINGLE
UserPostedImage
Official single cover for the upcoming single.

Culture Uncut are proud to announce that three of the biggest female names in music have collaborated together on a song to support the KONY 2012 campaign. Cinzia Ricci, Vanity and Stephanie Fierce have teamed up on a song titled "This Has to Stop (Kony 12)" in order to do just what the campaign wants, make Joseph Kony famous; not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

"The single is for a great cause and all of the money made from it will go straight to the Invisible Children organization," said a source. "Cinzia, Vanity and Stephanie were all excited and very willing to help use their status in the industry to bring further attention to the matter and help spread the word. They're all very passionate about the matter, so it was natural that the three of them wanted to do their part to help out."

No word has been revealed yet on when the single will premiere, but watch this space!

Katie: Two of these three are heroes of mine...but I wish less people were so gullible about this whole Kony thing...yes, it is true that the man should be arrested. But he isn't in Uganda like everyone thinks. He is actually in hiding, a la bin Laden, and the chances that any forces will find him is very very low. The fact his forces are majorly depleted also speaks volumes for the fantasies that "Kony 2012" the film has continued to push on everyone. I mean, the guy was caught masturbating in the street, and people are still going to send money to his organisation?
But hey...we're all activists now right?
I don't mean to sound mean...really I don't, and this is a good cause. I just feel like the world has been sucked in to something here...I'm sure the single will be marvellous though girls :)

Mike: Man, they're doing something great!

Dave: No, they're fucking looking for a hit. I'm sure.

Mike: Ok, but I support them!

Dave: Oh I forgot, Kony is a motherfucker...I fuck him.

Giselle leaving her hotel during her stay there for her Experience Giselle tour, in New York.

The perfume named after her hit single, "Dangerous" is set for a Fall 2012 release. The fragrance will be released through a deal with Elizabeth Arden, which is said to be in the million according to sources. Giselle has stated that the fragrance will be "daring, sexy, passionate" but not "overbearing". Giselle is also in the works to do a massive campaign for the scent, and maybe even a placement in a future music video. The perfume is said to have the tagline, "Live on the wild side", it will be released exclusively at Macy's.

James: This is the only Kony 2012 thing that I've seen in the last 2 weeks that hasn't been a meme taking the piss or someone complaining about it. As much as you want it to, this isn't going to end, and releasing a single isn't going to help find the man, neither is sharing the logo, video etc on the internet, the guy isn't going to think "people are talking about me, I'd better hand myself in" because as Katie pointed out, he's hiding, and he's not doing that for fun.

Good luck with it of course and I'm certain that it will be great release, but there are better causes to support with music. I've noticed the hype about it only really lasted a couple of days while the video was being posted all over facebook and now this just seems really old. Which is quite depressing.

Matt: James, I know you have an opinion, but shut the fuck up.

Vanity: As I said, people always need to find a reason to complain about something, whether it be because they think the single will make absolutely no difference or because they think the campaign is a load of BS. Everyone always has to come up with some sort of conspiracy theory, right? At the end of the day, we're just doing our part in helping to raise money for it as we personally believe in it and think it's a great cause. You don't have to think the same, we're just showing that we care. Not because we're suddenly raging activists.

ARIZONA BLUE SELL OVER 15K SINGLES IN 24 HOURS

It has been revealed by online distributors that Arizona Blue, who are only a day into recording their debut album Blackout have sold over 15,000 copies of their song World Of Fire, which was streamed online from March 11th, and was made available to purchase at midnight March 21st.

The news has come as a shock to the band as their previous release (2010’s self titled EP) only sold 500 copies in a week (which seemed like a lot to the band at that time), however their new single, which has been confirmed will not be on the upcoming album has sold over 30 times more than that release’s first week in one day.

The band are currently settling into their temporary home in Bath, England while recording their new album, vocalist James Elliot said this on behalf of the band:

“To think that this is a song that we were uncertain about making public is just mental, I don’t think that we realised how big of a deal this is for us now, we’re in a studio, recording an album, and we’ve just sold just under double what our previous 2 releases have ever sold in one day.

The album is going to be something very special for us, and now shit has got real. We start tracking again at 10am tomorrow and go on until 9pm, we want this album perfect, we’re not coming out of here until it is, thanks you so much for your support, this album is not going to disappoint you.”

Arizona Blue have also announced that they will not be releasing a stiduo diary tonight, but will instead release it after a few more days in recording.

Hardcore singer 'ejected from his own after party'

The singer was removed from the after show event after offending other attendees with "vile comments."

UserPostedImage

Seeing people ejected from LA nightclubs is nothing new for the millions who inhabit its glorious streets every weekend, but how often do you get the chance to see someone thrown from a party they themselves were hosting? This was exactly the fate which befell hardcore singer Cal Anderson on Wednesday night, when the wannabe rockstar was "forcibly removed" from Crystal Club in the city following a string of incidents in which it is believed he upset other party-goers with controversial topics of conversation.

The frontman of hardcore punk nobodies Alibis Are For The Weak is said to have targeted various groups of female revellers throughout the course of his tirade against censorship, which saw people leave the party out of disgust at what the host thought was acceptable.

The party was being held to celebrate the hardcore band's first support slot in LA, with the San Francisco outfit having played under thrash metal quintet SoloWick earlier in the evening in The Basement, situated in the building attached to the Crystal Club. A spokesman for the band said that they had hired out the whole club in order to let their fans have the chance to show their appreciation, and for the band to thank the fans for the lobbying "f**k the system" campaign which saw them added to the bill for the concert late on.

Crystal Club owner Bryonny Tomkins told Culture Uncut that the unsavoury scenes which unfolded throughout the night had left the security at the club with no choice but to eject the singer from the premises.

"We received a series of complaints throughout the night from a number of female patrons who said that the man in question had made them feel uncomfortable by talking about "sick" subjects all night. Regardless of who had booked out the room, there were paying customers in the club on the night, and we cannot allow the reputation of our business be put at risk by the actions of people who want to make a name for themselves."

The club mogul refused to comment on the subjects which had led to Anderson's ejection from the premises, but Culture Uncut spoke to the man himself on the phone this morning, when he explained his actions in full.

"I didn't see all that many problems with what I had said," the singer explained to us. "I merely walked up to a group of four girls, whom I heard discussing some shit about diamond encrusted jewellery. My input was to suggest that they may want to escort me to my hotel room, and I would personally see to it that they all left in the morning with a sizeable blood encrusted ring each..."

When pushed on the other topics of conversation which saw him asked to leave, the frontman said that he had asked various people if they had ever had a sexual fantasy about living in Jozef Fritzl's cellar, as well as enquiring as to "what animals turned people on most".

Anderson denied accusations that he had been drinking or ingesting any form of drugs, adding: "I'm just me, I say what I ******* like!"

I was just fed up looking at everyone drinking out of cups that were so fucking branded that I was on the lookout for a farmer following them with a hot iron! Capitalist fucking cunts! No one gives a flying fuck these days. As long as they get their perfect products and they don't have to see where their money goes then they're only too happy to bend the hell over and receive.
