Dominic Brown: Chaos Awards Performance
Before the show
Dominic stood backstage in front of his dressing room mirror, adjusting his outfit before he had to go out on stage. Stepping back to get a good look of himself, he noticed how good he looked and smiled. Just a few weeks ago he had gotten off tour with Tisha Jackson and though it had been days apart since now and than, he still felt tired from all the traveling. His outer experience didn't show it but his body felt otherwise. Not wanting to think about it however, he quickly dismissed it. Tonight's show was about his fans and he'd do anything it took to make the show perfect just for them. They had supported him so much since he had made his debut back in May of 2011, giving him a quadruple-platinum debut album, #1 singles and videos, and many award nominations. Tonight was his night to give back thanks for all they had done but this was only the beginning. Before the start of the new year, Dominic vowed to make 2012 the year of his fans. Everything that he did would be just for them and though it could never be enough to pay back what they've done, he hoped that they would get just how much he appreciated their gratitude and support. One of Dominic's body guards, who was standing outside the door, peaked in the room, bringing Dominic back to reality, telling him that they're ready for him. Dominic nodded then said, "Iight. I'm coming." His body guard nodded back and closed the door. He walked over to his wear his jacket was hanging up then put it on, pulling the hood over his head. He looked back in the mirror one last time before heading out of his dressing room towards where he would be coming out at. He saw his dancers and other crew members were already there and pulled them in for a few words of prayer to make sure the show went well. Once done, he could hear that the announcer was seconds away from announcing his name. He climbed into the lift and stood up, waiting for it to raise.
Moments later Dominic's name was announced and the lights dimmed down low. A few seconds later, the big screen on stage lit up to display images of Dominic, the fans begin screaming wildly. The lift at this time begin to rise and as he got closer towards the stage he could hear people chanting his name. Now fully on stage, Dominic stood with his hands down to his side looking at the audience. He suddenly ran and back flipped off of the lift he had been standing on, landing on the main stage. The big screen behind him displayed sparks, giving off the affect of an explosion right at the moment his feet touched the floor. Red, green, and a bit of yellow lights shined down on Dominic and an up-tempo dance beat with catchy synth and string melodies began to play, sounding off around the building. He went over to the mic stand,that was standing in the center of the stage, pulling the mic out of it then began singing the words to "Dance With You."

As the second verse comes up, Dominic yells into his mic, "Let me hear u sing it!" He holds his mic up towards the crowd while Izzy's voice is heard singing her verse. The audience joins in to sing along with the track, as Dominic holds his head down, bobbing it to the music. When the songs breaks into the chorus, a few of Dominic's dancers come out from the side and then join him on stage as they dance in sync together.

Dominic finishes up singing the last note before the music stops. The lights on stage dim down as a catchy drum pattern with an addictive ethnic instrument melody begins to play. The dancers disappear off of the stage and Dominic walks across the stage, closer towards the fans sitting in the front. All the while, he begins singing "One Night."

The music suddenly stops and Dominic stands there looking around at the audience. Screaming cheers and random "Dominic" chants can be heard through out the room. Suddenly a mid-tempo Rnb beat with addictive string melody accompanied by catchy synth melodies begins playing, soon after Dominic begins singing "Black Heart." Some of the audience stand up and begin singing along with him.

But I was so wrapped in her love that I didn't see
That she had a secret motive from the start

Once the second verse approaches, Mandy's voice is heard singing her verse. He takes off his outer layer leather jacket then goes over to touch a few fans that happened to come closer towards the stage, his body guards try to keep them from pulling him off the stage. As Mandy's part finishes, he goes back over to the mic stand, leaning it back as he sings the chorus.

He's on the phone asking what he did wrong

The lights dim down as the song breaks down into the bridge section. As he sings and harmonizes, you can hear the audience singing along with him. Then as the song comes back into the final chorus, Dominic takes off his inner jacket, displaying his black bathing ape shirt. He throws it out into the audience and a few fans in the front go crazy over it. Security quickly rushes over to handle the situation.

The song ends and suddenly a pop beat with a moving synth,and piano beat starts to play and Dominic begins singing the verse to his latest single, "Can't Love You."
