Android/Digital Love/Innovation of the Mind: Melody The lights go out, the big screen flickers, and static noises can be heard. On the Jumbo Tron, a video clip is shown, with a CGI created robot speaking. “Looking for a better way of life, we fight for our freedom, our right to live, and our right to think. This is a revolution for the common good, will you fight for your right, or will you stand back and have everything taken away from you?“ The opening lines to “Android” is played, and the lights slowly dim on. Giselle is laying on a bed with people around her. They are wearing metallic and white clothing; their faces are hidden behind a black mask that hides their mouths.
"Push me And then just touch me Till I can get my satisfaction Satisfaction, satisfaction, satisfaction, satisfaction" Giselle is carried from the bed, and is wearing a sliver catsuit. Her eyes are covered with a black colored makeup that are connected to both eyes, she is also wearing white colored contacts. She stands on her own and sings the verse to “Android”. Open me, do some work on me Press start, and do some surgery Now that you turned me on, Insert your CD and program me-me Show me how to love, Show me how to feel-el-el Now that I’m yours, Do some work on me
Now that I’m your android, Go on and enjoy me This land is yours savor it I know you're gonna favor it Show me some affection, Inject your love infection And make me your perfection The music then turns into of a mash-up of Digital Love and Android, and Giselle and her does a dance break to this segment. Soon, the dancers go one by one. And Giselle is left dancing with only one guy. She then sings the verse to “Digital Love”. When you’re gone, I spend my nights thinking how I can carry one without you, The nights turn into days, and days into months, but I always remember when you said I love you Even though you’re not here with me, I always think of you baby, I can never forget your smile , And how you can make me feel all better The lights again go out, and a slow dreamy synth keyboard is played. The spotlight goes on Giselle and she says the opening lines to “Innovation of the Mind”. Free your mind, relax and unwind, This won’t hurt a bit, it’s time for progression, No more oppression of our minds, Free from all ignorance and prejudice, No more bigotry and illiteracy, Time for us to open our eyes and be free, Remove all bias and come together as one Various religious symbols are shown on the Jumbo Tron, like the Star of David, the Cross, and Ying & Yang. All of them come together and show to two hands shaking in peace, and they transform into the word “love”. Giselle comes together with her back up dancers and sings the chorus and verse to the song in a cappella. *Sung in a capella*
Our children are the future, Show them a brighter day Teach them right and not wrong See people as your sister and your brother And not strangers or enemies Open your minds, and let your hearts show you the way, that’s the path to freedom
We’re living in a world where love is hate, Where being different isn’t right, A world where our children are taught evil, Well ignorance is not bliss, Knowledge is power, And respect should forever be kept Innovation of the mind No more religious intolerance Innovation of the mind Freedom for all Innovation of the mind The right to life A loud boom is heard, and Giselle bows and smiles. |
