Well, there goes my plan to read each book in between each series. I don't know, two chapters in and the text is not grabbing me at all.

I managed to get through the first two books, but the third one has left me wanting. Storm of Swords is supposedly the best one, but after plowing through the first two monsters, I felt bogged down by the 3rd or 4th chapter of SoS. It's been months and I still can't get myself to pick it back up.

I'm really excited for Game of Thrones to return.

Has anyone been watching Awake? Cop show starring Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy!) where he was in a car crash & his wife died, so it's just him & his son. And then he goes to sleep & it's his son who died, & his wife is alive.

Neat concept, worth checking out, only 2 eps in so far.

That's an incredible scene. The art of Don Draper.
I'm very glad that after its extended hiatus, Mad Men, will be returning next week. It's very rare that a show continues to get even better with each passing season, yet in my opinion, Mad Men has done just that. Season 4 was just spectacular. By far, my favorite season yet.

The art of Don Draper, or the art of Dick Whitman?

I have never seen the whole of Mad Men, just a few select episodes, but this was a scene a few friends helped me through for the more symbolic parts.

---

WALKING DEAD is ending its second season tomorrow and last week's episode really felt like the finale.

---

@ForkBoy;

I was watching Awake and struggling to figure out what my favorite pilot scene was but then the A.V. Club mentioned the scene in which he wakes up, and has rubber-band on his wrist so he just flips out. That was the pinnacle for me, that was what sold me.

Literally just finished season 4 of Dexter...and I am now thoroughly depressed. Did not see that finale coming at all. Brilliant...but also sad.

While Season 4 is super dark, Season 5 is kinda stupid (like Season 3 of True Blood).

Give 'im the kick.

LOST SPOILER

Just finished LOST. Really wish I didn't watch the final series and have to sit through that ending. It was painful. The whole way through the 6th season I was thinking to myself what way is it going to end, and my thoughts were so much better than it was. It actually seemed like they took the lazy way out with it.

Well so far today, I've managed to watch episodes of Game of Thrones, Mad Men & of course Californication. Which has now ended.

I'm so glad Game of Thrones is back, it's very exciting when nothing massive happens. Just being reminded of how damn good Peter Dinklage is. And what an utter shite Joffrey is, of course!

Also, wasn't wrong, you guys should watch Awake if you aren't already.

So the second episode of Game of Thrones season 2 is out there on the internet if you know where to look. It's kind of beautiful.

Davos. Such a fucking great character.

Toonami aired on [adult swim] for the US Kids who had their childhoods in the 90s - 04. Was pretty beautiful.

Community is as great as ever and I still enjoy watching it.

I've also been running back through Metalocalypse and the Venture Bros.
