Released: April 2nd, 2012Format: CD Single, Digital DownloadRecorded: San Juan, Puerto RicoGenre: PopLength: 4:05Label: Studio60 RecordsWritten By: Hannah Beth MerjosProducer: Justin N, Gia Rose-HiltonSong DescriptionHannah Beth has released numerous singles, all with different messages, but this song seems to be one of her most positive ones. After her personal life has seemed to turn for the better, we've noticed a change in Hannah's look and now possibly her sound. The song begins with a piano and violins in the background, along with a keyboard, making it an uptempo song. Hannah sings in the beginning before going into the first verse. She sings with a soulfulness in her voice and bounces each note playfully. There's a hint of a island/Caribbean feeling to her voice as well. The violins pick up as she sings the second half of the verse, going into the chorus. The beat then picks up to how it started in the beginning. Another change in tempo comes when she sings the bridge and a Choir is heard singing in the background. The song talks about how you shouldn't worry about what others think of you and Hannah seems to be questioning how society works in the line, "I guess this is the price that I must pay/For living my own life my own way/Nobody can seem to ever figure out/Why we must fill each other with so much doubt." She also points out that even if life gets you down, you should take it on with a smile and just keep going. A very motivational, positive song from Hannah but is it enough to get her on top of the charts?
Ooh, Ooh, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na
[Verse 1] I've cried, so many tears it seems so unreal Everyone talks, they tear me down I try to figure out Why, oh why? I guess this is the price that I must pay For living my own life my own way Nobody can seem to ever figure out Why we must fill each other with so much doubt
[Chorus] But all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind and Sea I said all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind, and the Sea Nothing will ever change how I feel
[Verse 2] Sometimes the life you live will get you down And that's the time that you're supposed to smile You never let them know, You never ever show Just how they get to you I guess this is the price that I must pay For living my own life my own way Nobody can seem to ever figure out Why we must fill each other with so much doubt
[Chorus] But all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind and Sea I said all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind, and the Sea Nothing will ever change how I feel
[Chorus] Now all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind and Sea I said all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind, and the Sea Nothing will ever change how I feel
[Bridge] Every season has it's roses Every season has it's pain All the time that you are fighting Nothing loss and nothing gained But all that matters to me I said all that matters to me Yeah all that matters to me-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e
[Chorus] Now all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind and Sea I said all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind, and the Sea Nothing will ever change how I feel
[Chorus] (Oh-h-h-h-h-h) Now all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind and Sea I said all that matters to me is You, I, the Wind, and the Sea Nothing will ever change how I feel Available for Download Now! |
