I like rockband, and guitar hero, but guitar hero is cooler:)
so, which game do you think is better? |

Its not supposed to substitute the real thing and I think real guitar players need to get over them selves cause the game if fun, and a lot harder than you would think.
As for Rock band vs Guitar Hero, I have to go with Guitar Hero cause I like it's game design better and the fret board is too hard to see in Rock Band, plus Guitar Hero's songs are way better than the crap on Rock Band. |

I'd feel more rewarded knowing I learned a song on guitar than on a shitty game. Though saying that, I don't tend to learn other people's songs anyway. Plus I agree with Jack White's opinion on these sorts of games that it's bad for kids to think they're amazing for hitting a few buttons. |

Rock Band for me. They usually have the songs I enjoy more than Guitar Hero. Plus getting drunk and singing on it is a lot of fun. |

Your right that real Guitar is way better/harder/and more....real. But the game is cool and if a kid is better at the GAME than someone is on the GAME, then he has the right to brag about it. However, he shouldnt think that he could actually play guitar because of it. It's just a game. Something to do if you just cant play a real instrument and realy fun if you just want to get some freind together and listen to some music while playing a GAME too. Overall my point is that its just GAME, a fun GAME to. |

Real guitar is way better. Real drums is way better. Real bass is way better. Real singing is way better. I heard you can just hum through a song in those game. |

Never been a fan, because I remember the days when rhythm action games had some creativity. Bust-a-Move, Parappa the Rapper, Um Jammer Lammy, Vib Ribbon. Now it's all just pressing buttons on plastic guitars to popular rock songs. Yawn.

I play both, along with piano, drums, and saxophone. I never said that you said you never played, but if you had, you would know weather you could just hum or not. |
