The house was nice, big but not nearly a mansion and the Realtor seemed to be happy to get high-profile clients in the area. Greg looked out of his window and saw what really attracted him to the home, the large backyard, fenced off by wooden planks but it stretched out with a signature Sycamore, leaves in full blossom. Just looking at it brought a smile to Greg's face, and he brought a hand to his hair scratching it before bring the same hand down and adjusting his distinctive glasses. Greg: This place looks great. Greg dusted his jacket off for a moment before peeking back at the door, waiting for his wife-to-be to enter. Greg: What do ya think?

Her eyes then stop on Greg and she looks even happier. Mariah: This... this is wonderful Greg. It's perfect for us. She then walks a little and gives another look at the house, ending up giving Greg another of her huge and radiant smiles.

Greg peels off his glasses for a moment, cleaning the lenses with his jacket before placing the glasses back on. Greg: I must say though Miss Button, I never thought I'd hear the words perfect leave your lips.

As he signs the paper against the wall of one of the rooms in the vacant house, he calls back to Mariah. Greg: Oh, I completely forgot, I...I want to meet your parents. He hadn't forget, he dreaded meeting her parents just from the sheer thought that they might hate him.

Mariah: Yes, you should definately meet them. I'm sure they'd get even together just to meet you. They divorced when I was very young.

That sounds awful, I'm sorry to hear that, but...truth is I'm a little scared to meet them. What if your dad is mean and your mom hates the shirt that I wear and the day goes terrible and...I want them to be happy about us.

Mariah: You don't have to worry! My mom was so happy when I told her about you and she'd love to meet you. I'm not sure about my dad, because I only met him for the first time last year and I'm still knowing him better, but he'll probably love to meet you too.

He loved kids but two things halted his thought-process, one he was bad with kids, they hated him. Second, he didn't think he was ready to take care of a kid yet, and was scared that he had the potential to make a mistake. Greg: On...on second thought maybe we should think of how we're gonna furnish the place. OOC: Sorry for the ultra-late post, thought I posted then remembered I didn't a week later.
