got a job interview up in the brough on wednesday and thought i may as well spend the day up there.. I know there are a fair few Scots on here, so was wondering if anyone has any suggestions... |

Well I'm not massively familiar with Edinburgh & haven't been there for anything other than a gig in well over a decade. But the next time I do go I'd like to visit the National Museum of Scotland. You could go see the stupid pandas at Edinburgh Zoo. If it's a nice day then there's always Arthur's Seat to go for a walk up. I don't know much more than that. |

I recommend the zoo. The pandas are kind of boring though, fairly lazy, the ones in Vienna are better. Go see the Hamlyn's Monkeys though. The monkey house is small, but it's awesome. And the tapirs. But then again, it's worth spending at least a half-day there. For a shorter trip, I would also recommend a walk through Princes Street Gardens, and there's a few galleries and museums around that area. The National Museum is good. |
