Layla reveals that "Get Crazy" is about getting back to having fun and enjoying life, stating it "Is a hyped dance track that sounds kind of futuristic and as soon as you hear it, you just wanna forget about your problems, grab a drink, grab a friend or significant other and just dance like nobody's watching!". She also mentioned that the song was influenced by African chants, eurodance and rock guitar. "Get Crazy" was released digitally on May 6th, as the first ever single from the gossip blog writer. Musically, "Get Crazy" is an eurodance song that consists of tribal vocal chorales in the background. It also displays influences of electro, R&B and house music. Layla sings about partying and having fun. The song begins with a slow build-up of synths and a quick club beat as she sings: "Tonight is the night (Yeah)/ Tonight is the night (Yeah)/ So intoxicating, the time is fading/ Tonight is the night (Yeah)/ Tonight is the night (Yeah)/ Don't let it go to waste/ Everybody go crazy (Go crazy) Go crazy (Go Crazy)/."Layla appears to be screaming the vocals during the chorus line: "Everybody go crazy", commenting that her final note is stretched out for several seconds. Layla first stated that she was releasing her first ever single on Twitter and then Culture Uncut further expanded on it by telling some of the details about the song. Layla is no stranger to the music business and with her managing skills of Kato, Kayla Rivers, and Benji Luna, the writer decided to experiment with her own music. "I felt it was something of a learning experience when I was in the studio. I loooooved the atmosphere and writing just came easy to me. I hope everyone loves the song as much as I do because it's a real hit in my eyes! I still don't wanna be the next Beyonce or Nadia Berry, I just wanna make music and have fun with it. To me, not every song has to have some emotional, deep meaning. I think some people should lighten up and have fun with music, not to say that those depressing and thinking songs are bad but this just isn't one of those songs."
