ASHLEY GRIMMIE – STAR FACTORY



Ashley walks out to the stage after Damion Holmes announces her name to the crowd, she walks to the microphone wearing a blue t-shirt and puts both hands onto the microphone and holding it tightly before smiling at the audience, “Hey, today I’m going to sing ‘Back To Fierce’ … I hope you like it”.
She smiles and waits for the band to begin the start of the song and with the advice to not play piano last week from the judges it appears that she's taken on their advice in an attempt to stay in the competition as she was voted into the bottom two after last week's performance, this time though it’s just Ashley standing at the center of the stage singing the song, she brushes her hair out of her eyes as she starts to sing the opening words to the song with her soft vocals;

The band continues to play the song throughout the performance and Ashley moves around the stage with the microphone in her hands in a change to her usual performance style which is mostly sat at the piano playing emotional music, but in the change and after following the advice of the judges from last week she continues to use the stage and seems comfortable enough performing without the piano as her safety blanket, she dances a little with the music and she sways her hips from side to side and then as the music reaches the more slower parts, she stands completely at the center of the stage and stares out at the audience in front of her as the chorus arrives, she smiles as she sings the repetitive lyrics;

Ashley finishes singing the final lyrics to the song and remains stood at the center of the stage, she smiles as the crowd applaud her and waits for the judges’ comments on her performance.
