MTV MUSIC NEWS REPORT: Is Stephanie Fierce really going on Hiatus,
"Love is Lust" may be "Secretetly" released? When it comes to Stephanie Fierce, you just will never know what to expect. Since 2008, Miss Fierce has been smashing headlines with countless controversies. Herrrrllooooooo, that's why they call her and "Vanity" Little Miss Controversy, are we wrong? Well, the pop star who recently announced that she will be going on a "music hiatus", isn't exactly keeping her word. After making her Reality TV Series debut on Star Factory as a show guest, Fierce faced major controversy after lashing out on the pop group "Lashes", who chose to cover her smash hit single "Love Feels Like Grenades" for "Fierce Week". Well if you're still confused, the theme of the show that week was for each contestant(s) to pick a Stephanie Fierce song from a special list, and cover it. The show seemed to kick off with a great start, however Steph obviously wasn't pleased with the one particular group, who we all know as.... "Lashes". After making nasty comments about the group on live television, tears rolled down the faces of many. Meltdowns took place, like an ice cream cone in the Sahara dessert. Many called Stephanie Fierce, "Cruel", "Bitchy", "Too Fierce" and even an "Old Hag from the 18th century" [confirmed by the incredibly fearless miss "Cassie" herself]. Some even believed it was the end of the world, according to TV personality Brittany Knox who seems to want a piece of the controversy. Ok, maybe we pushed the buttons there, but basically what we were trying to say was that not many people were pleased by the FIERCE comments Steph made. However, like the Steph we all know and love, she courageously sent out an apology to talented group "Lashes" and admitted that the group may actually have a chance to win. Awww......well obviously Steph was a bit on the wrong so it was all due in her respect! You gotta love the pop world and its catty pop divas!
But even with all that set in the past, do you think Stephanie Fierce did this intenially to generate buzz or do you think that the controversy trully fueled Fierce to release more music to prove the neyseyers wrong?
However, what is there to really prove, when you can say you've sold over 200 million records, won 3 birdies, won 3 chaos awards and ruled the charts year after year? Well, Steph seems to love her haters, because she always seems to respond to them. Matter a fact, Just recently, fierce unveiled the cover and song title of a new single titled "Gangstar" featuring Vanity and The Rockers, which is set to be released on May 27, 2012 both to radio and digital formats. And with that Steph is also set to make an appearance on hit show "Music Box". So much for a hiatus right? However, don't get your hopes up just yet, Steph described the "Gangstar" song as "uplifting" and "heartwarming". So we won't be seeing stilleto's and autotune boxes of any kind flying up in the air any time soon. Well darn..... By the way Steph, how many times are you going to do a collaboration with "The Rockers", you might as well start a second band. We definitively wouldn't mind! But let's see how it all plays out.
Moving on....
A couple of weeks ago, it didn't come to shock as many fans were dissapointed when it was unveiled that "Love is Lust" was scrapped and would not be released. Some of the more obsessive fans even threatened that they would find and "kill" Fierce if she didn't release the record. Now, we don't know if Stephanie Fierce was shooken up by this but, fans may be in for a treat because while Fierce goes on her " music hiatus", each track from "Love is Lust" may be "secretely" released.
Now, you may ask... how is something really "secretely" released? Looking at the options, many musicians in the past have "leaked" their own material with purpose of giving the fans an exlusive listening experience to their records or Maybe Steph, will make the record a "limited" release by maybe doing a one time shipping sort of deal of her record once released to retail stores. Whatever it is, it has been done in the pat and it definfitly would bring much more excitement to the fierce fans. But back to this whole hiatus thing. When will Stephanie Fierce take a break? Do you think Steph is a just a fame hag, or do you think Steph really cares about her fans and wants to do her best at keeping them happy?
So many questions, so many answers, but it's up to YOU decided the answer! SOUND OFF!
