"David Luna" is an electronic music artist and dancer (born; Barcelona Spain in February 15, 1989). Luna moved into America in 1999 where he listened to artists and bands such as Daft Punk, Moby, Eiffel 65, Electrodeath, Cinzia Ricci, Glamazon, Buzz & Hype, DJ Cloud, Miss Vanity, Stephanie Fierce, and many more, while carefully studying their style as all those artists impacted the way he created his demos. Mr. Luna considers himself to be a progressive house artist however he will venture into many other genres with his self debut album.
"I was inspired by these great artists, because all of them had something special to bring to electronic music and meeting or working with any of them would be a huge honor. I personally am Inspired by how music can carry words. I want to evolve that concept with my music and hopefully people will enjoy it".
In January 23, 2011, David Luna officially landed a record deal with E Records. Moments after, Luna announced that he had begun
recording his debut album titled and that a single will be underway in the following months. Moments later, Luna also announced that he will serve as opening DJ act for Stephanie Fierce's "Queen of Pop Era" World Tour for the US Leg; which slowed downed the process of recording his debut album a bit.
"During the tour with Stephanie Fierce, I was able to break that fear I've always had in the business and be inspire by the crowd and lose myself into them. In the industry, people really try their best to intimidate you and I was able to breakthrough all that. It definfitly helped me in the recording process of the album as well, seeing what sound people around me responded to the most. I'm not just a performer, I am an architect of my music".
In March, David Luna landed an interview with NME Magazine where he finally unveiled the title of his debut album "Immortal Words".Luna explained the title of the album:
"I decided to call my first album "Immortal Words" because I feel like this album will be something my listeners will never forget. There's a deep connection the listeners will have while listening to this album. That's pretty ballsy for me to say, especially since I'm making a debut but I'm working hard to create something that people can dance to, but also something they can keep in their hearts. I'm looking at everything from art, what you will see visually, what you will hear, what you will probably think and I'm pushing the buttons and taking risks for every bit of what I do. I want to be an unique artist. I want to push the boundaries and keep myself in a steady pace. I will say that my album is a agressive in some parts. There's a song called "The Morning Piss" and it's a bit hard core, but it's something people can still get into and enjoy. So far I've been impressed with the new record label, because they've allowed me to express myself musically any way I want to and they have also showed me how to be patient with music. Overall the album is shaping up to be something big, but I'm more interested or at least excited to introduce my performing style. I'm a different kind of electronic live artist. I want to bring electronic music to the stage and make it more present."
