Good luck with this. Just had a look at it and it seems great, ill be following it for sure. And if I can pick up what it's about and how it's done then ill be interested in joining the next one. But very promising premise can't wait to see how it develops.

Well we do still have vacancies :p Hah, I'm not actually trying to badger anyone. Besides, I think I saw you're away on hols soon so I'm only kidding. But when you get back if you are interested then awesome, just let us know, I don't doubt that it'll be possible to bring new folk in to the game.

To the people who are interested of playing the first test scenario: have you had a read of the character sheets yet? It'd be interesting to know what character you wanna use, or if you were thinking of creating a new character from scratch that could still fit into the scenario. Though I would say that the 5 names there make for a relatively balanced grouping as far as mixing combat, investigative stuff & the other things neccessary for the scenario. Up to you guys though!

And any other questions? Like about what different things on the stat sheets mean, other mechanical things like that? Anything I can do to help fill in any blanks you have, especially if it's making you weary of playing. By all accounts it's pretty straight forward.

I think they came in early to play on the premises, not actually while they were supposed to be working.

That's cool. Well actually it's probably the opposite of cool but that doesn't matter.

Yeah, cool people roleplay instead of doing work. And then Julie O'Rourke happens by and is like "what are you doing?" and Kenny's like "We're playing Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay." and Julie's like "Why are you not doing your work?" and Kenny says "Hey, Julie O'Rourke. Go fuck yourself."

If only.

Poor Julie O'Rourke.

So, to go back to a question I asked a page back, would you be available to play on Sunday evenings? I can't see a session lasting much more than an hour, it's not a huge commitment. Unless you are the storyteller doing your own plot & then you have to work out exactly what happens before every session. But even that seems within reasonable levels of effort.

Well so far Sunday looks like the best day for everyone but Rince. Which is a shame. Oh & AJ, who hasn't actually said when he's available. So yeah, if you wanna play, do have a look at he PDF I uploaded, assuming you haven't already. Because I'm a megalomaniac & would like to know what people wanna do characterwise.

I don't think we'll be able to start this weekend to be honest. Seems unlikely anyway. We still haven't worked out how we'll be doing this, like with what chat program. IRC?

So another alternative which might fit people better is PbP aka Play by Post. Or essentially a game where posts are made on a forum (such as this one). It'd mean people could post whenever they are available obviously which would be more accomodating to people, rather than needing them at a certain time. But it'd obviously run a little slower because of that. Up to you guys what you'd prefer to do.

Should also say that unless there's any objections I'd quite like to start this this weekend. So if folk who are interested would let us know what character they fancy & what way they'd like to see the game run (on a chat program or on the forum) soonish then that'd be swell. I'd like to know before Thursday afternoon or I'm just going to call it off & save my time.

Nope, not really. It's just using a chat program like IRC, & I used to use that over a decade ago on 14.4kbps modem. Worked fine, it's a pretty old protocol
