' Invention of Me' moves eight positions up the charts!

After releasing her new single earlier this week, ' Empty' her album, Invention of Me has moved up eight positions in the charts, regaining her sells to over 2.5 million copies gained such last week's sales when Invention of Me earlier this month was at the lowest selling rank albums of the charts, standing at number 19. Only selling 130,000 copies, Radio still was weaken on the week of May 8th when she fallen down to number 18 from the 16th place the previous week. Many claim that her new single, " Empty" helped boost up her sales after revealing that her next album, " Echos of Silence" will be out soon, having Empty has the lead single from her sequel of albums that she is planning on doing. This week, selling over 160,000 according to SoundScan, Radio has been on the charts for almost five months, 24 weeks. This album will also nominated for " Best Album of the Year" at the last Chaos, also becoming music's most anticipated and successful album this year. Gaining the likes of Glamazon, Stacey Walton and Nadia Berry. The industry overlooked Radio as just another "music act" Back in 2010, they even called her " one hit wonder" on her highly successful single, " Color Me" that made Radio famous. This album has put Radio on the map, but many people and acts in music today haven't even heard of Radio until she peaked at number one back in January and now when she released Empty. Is Radio's time finally coming? Is it her turn to shine? Invention of Me is now available. It's still available on voting for the album charts and Empty will be available for airplay this week.

Popstar Hannah Beth Hospitilazied For Alleged Food Poisoning, Again!

It seems almost just this time almost a year ago, Hannah Beth was in the hospital from food poisoning and reports say she's back for the same reason. The 24 year old was admitted this morning when she complained about her stomach hurting and feeling dizzy. She was then taken to the hospital by her brother, Hayden Merjos, who stayed with her all night to make sure she was okay. Her doctors checked on her and said that it was eerily similar to her food poisoning back in July of 2011. She then proceeded to get her stomach pumped and is now recovering. Her brother stated that she was 'Very nauseous and in a lot of pain.' He also wanted to make it clear that Hannah is not pregnant, despite other internet rumors about her. Izzy was also seen at the hospital but left later on in the day. It's reported that Hayden is still there with Hannah. Also alongside her is her husband of a few months, Brandon Caulfield, who is reportedly very upset over the misfortune of his wife. We also got another statement from Hayden.

"We don't know what's really going on with these poisonings, there's no suspects yet I guess. We just really wanna support Hannah and hope she has a speedy recovery because she, of all people, definitely does not deserve this. She's doing fine now, talking and laughing like normal. She's wanting to get out of the hospital but we're making her stay for safety precautions and stuff. I don't know who would seriously do this to my sister but I just hope I don't find out who it is myself. Anyway, we'd like to thank the support from her fans and she appreciates it a lot. All we can do now is just wait and see what happens." - Hayden


Not much was known about the alleged food poisoning, or who did it. There's no word if there will be an investigation or if it will be dismissed again. Hannah is known throughout the music industry as described being very nice, sweet, and innocent, so who would want to hurt her? There's no word on how long she will remain in the hospital or if there's any suspects but we will keep everyone updated as the story goes along.

Serenity Scott talks about new music, tour dates, and her love life!

Serenity Scott has recently been gaining massive attention throughout all forms of media. She's been gaining massive fan base and popularity so very quickly. She released her debut single 'Wonderland' last week, but despite the fact that the single is a promo single release, it has reached a high position on the chart landing a spot at #5 on the Top 20 Digital Songs Chart. The songstress explained to us that it will now be served as the lead single of her debut album Teenage Era, and yes, it is revealed, the title of her debut album is 'Teenage Era', and as you know, we get the news first!
Ms.Scott explained to us about her new music. She described to us that the whole theme of the album is about teenage dreams and tells us that she has planned something BIG for this album. The album is still in the works, but Serenity tells us that it should be completed during the ending of next month and should be released sometime in July or August. Here's what Serenity had to say:

So the album will definitely be a fun and good one! I been recording this album since last year and I have been taking my time with this record so it doesn't sound like it was rushed or anything. I describe this album as very creative and different. It's about my teenage days, my teenage era. There's about 2 or 3 songs I recorded to give the fans something to dance too, and then the rest of the songs are about the teenage struggles I faced. In those lyrics of those story telling songs, I don't necessarily talk about me going through hardships or anything about me, I talk about the things that goes on with other people that relates to the things that I've been through. So in the songs I wouldn't be singing like "I went through the hardest times" or nothing like that. I would sing like "don't cry, I've been down that road" and things like that. So basically, the album will be like a complete story of my teenage era.


After a long conversation with Serenity about her upcoming album, we asked her opening tour dates. She told us that she will be going on two different tours with different artists this year. The first tour she'll be on is 'The Struggles Tour', headlined by James Urie with support acts including Serenity herself and Matt Urie. The next big tour Serenity will be on is the 'Good Mourning' tour, headlined by Vanity. She'll be performing on the North American tour leg with other amazing acts such as Kato and the flawless female group Lashes. These two tours will become the biggest tours Serenity have ever been apart of. Here's what Serenity had to say about the tour.

These two tours will be amazing. The choreography of both these tours are amazing. And I'll be happy to before performing with Matt Urie on James's tour, and Kato and the amazing girl group Lashes. This is the highlight of my life, since I was little I always dreamed about performing in front of so many. I always felt that I was destined to become a performer and a recording artist. That was always my goal when I was younger and also in my Teenage Era. When I first heard that I was wanted on these tours I was literally in tears. I will never forget those days. So thank you both James and beautiful Ms. Vanity for having me perform on your tours. It is an honour.


Serenity also confirmed to us that she is dating the famous James Urie. The couple has been dating for about almost two months now, as Serenity confirmed to us, and Serenity described a lot about James. Here's what Ms. Scott had to say about her love life:

James is just... someone I always wanted. He's such a good and loving person and I'm in love with him. We're both in love with each other. He's just the perfect guy for me and I can never ask for anyone better. I love honest, caring, supporting, and charming people, and he just fits the bill perfectly!


When asked whether or not they'll be getting married or not, or having children, here's what she had to say:

Well um.. (laughs), we never really talked about getting married. But I'm hoping we do get married in the future. And no, I would love to have kids in the far future, but I don't think I'm ready for any kids now. We never really spoke about that. Yes, I'll adopt a baby and maybe take care of him and her and we'd raise him or her as our own, but getting pregnant is not something I'd think about doing at this age. Maybe until I'm probably 30 or somewhere around that age range (she laughs and chuckles).

These are all the things Serenity sat down to speak with us about! Also, she confirmed to us that she will performing a 4 song set-list on MTV Live in New York City on 16 June. She will also be signing autographs there as well! Here debut single is out now, purchase it now!

Ryan: Dude, James! Run as fast as you can! A woman who already says she loves you after just two months of dating, is crazy. A woman who you've dated for two months and is saying she loves you AND talking about getting married already, is a ticking time bomb. And a woman who you've dated for two months, already saying she loves you, talking about marriage, AND wanting to adopt a kid!!! That is the kind of chick that goes batshit crazy and burns your fucking house down. Run, Urie, run.

Also, Serenity is signed to Liberation Records, I didn't sign her but as long as she brings the label success, she can be as crazy as she wants.

Taylor Asbridge yet again finds himself in a Culture Uncut article, which seems to have become a weekly thing now. So, what's happened? Has he been shot? mugged? beaten up? or gone back to being heartbroken? Maybe even had another child?.... And the answer is... none of the above. Taylor Asbridge was spotted in a park in London with long time girlfriend, Stacey Walton, who's recently returned to the music spotlight with her comeback single, 'The Subway' which is currently available for purchase.

But why is this important? Culture Uncut can confirm that Taylor Asbridge proposed to Stacey Walton today in that very park. Getting on one knee and popping the question infront of random bygoers, who never really took too much notice of the situation. And in floods of tears, Stacey Walton said yes, which even brought Taylor to tears. We've not yet spoken to either of the two as of yet, but we can confirm that this is 100% true, not a rumour.

The couple have been together since February 2011 following Taylor Asbridge's breakup with Hannah Beth, but Taylor moved on with Stacey Walton soon after, also following her breakup with Suburban Sunrise's Matt Urie. The two were spotted comforting each other at The Dirty Bastard 10 days before Taylor Asbridge's birthday, which lead to them starting the relationship following a close friendship that existed for a year.

So, does this mark the end of Taylor Asbridge's depressive life of heartbreak and pain and the start of a happy, new version of himself who is ready to settle down and get married? Or will this be a disaster waiting to happen? No matter what happens, Culture Uncut will be the first to let you know!

FIELD TRIP FESTIVAL 2012 – HEADLINERS OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED!

Yes, it has been almost a month of speculation on who would be the two headliners for ‘Field Trip Festival 2012’, a couple of weeks ago though festival organizer ‘Julian Morello’ confirmed to Culture Uncut that he was in talks with two younger acts that he hoped to confirm as the headliners and he gave early indications that the two acts that he was hoping to secure for the festival’s line-up were likely to be considered unexpected choices in the wake of speculation from music fans and critics alike, a lot of people would have expected Morello to go with experience considering it’s his first role of this magnitude but it seems like he wanted to go with youth from the outset and today the headliners have finally been confirmed to Culture Uncut.

The first headlining slot on Saturday 9th June will be the Dance/Pop star ‘Giselle’, the 21 year old from Miami, Florida has been in the entertainment industry since the age of 15, starting out as a model and later going on to write a string of successful singles for various artists, but in her own right as a musician she has also been highly successful and the release of her latest album ‘Robot Lover’ and a cacophony of hit songs and has helped propel the dance genre almost to the forefront of the music industry, she’s been the leading light in the genre alongside the likes of Cinzia Ricci and Isabel and her recent work has given her the most successful period in her career to date. Her live performances have also been heavily praised in the past, giving high energy dance routines with some of the catchiest songs in recent memory, an unexpected choice perhaps but with the dance-pop revolution that has been dominating the music industry she’s likely to bring in a whole new audience to the festival.

The second headliners for the festival and performing on Sunday 10th June will be an act familiar to many in the UK having toured here on two separate occasions during 2011 as well as a couple of shows recently on tour in support of Lily Abbott will be ‘Riot! In The Boulevard’ the teenage rock band have become one of the biggest names in the industry since the release of their debut album in July last year and there follow up in February 2012. They performed at the first ‘Field Trip Festival’ last year where they were given a less than desirable early afternoon slot which included a four song set, it was a success however as they achieved their first number one single only hours after the performance.
They have a string of successful singles under their belt and a wealth of catchy rock songs which are likely to be included in their set and they energetic live performances have often been praised, so with another very young act given the task of headlining it shows that there has been an element of risk in the selection of both, but we here at Culture Uncut believe that the festival will be another success.
Culture Uncut spoke to Julian Morello about the headliners and this is what he had to say;

“I don’t think it’s much of a risk at all when you look at what they’ve both achieved. They’ve performed live a lot of the past year so I have no doubt that they’ll both put on an incredible live performance for the festival, there’s no doubt in my mind that they can’t handle the occasion.
Giselle was the first act that I spoke to regarding the headlining spot at the festival and she appeared more than excited about it during the initial conversations that I had with her which gave me added confidence in her, the initial phone call between us was in early May and last week I met up with Giselle in New York to talk about the headlining slot and I hoped I could have her confirmed by the time we finished our talks, We spoke for almost 3 hours and I once I had left the room I knew that she could handle the prospect of performing as a headliner, her personality is something that shone through, she’s a light hearted and incredible down to earth young woman but she’s also incredibly hard working, everything she’s achieved recently can be attributed to her willingness to put in the effort.

Riot! have been on tour for the majority of the year, and there was initially some issues with a clash in tour dates, but we worked out any issues with the festival willing to fly them in on Sunday morning and fly them out to South America again on Monday morning, I was unsure if tiredness would be an issue but I got the chance to see one of their shows on tour recently and their energy levels are almost superhuman, I like many others first saw Riot! perform at last years ‘Field Trip Festival’ and I was very impressed with them, I think Amy was 17 years old at the time and I was blown away by her confidence and ability. I met with the band for a couple of hours to discuss how we’d work it out and what I could expect from them as headliners and I felt that meeting again feeling excited about the prospect.

I promised that I’d look towards the youthful aspect when it came to selecting the headliners for the festival and I believe that these are two of the most relevant acts in the music industry right now, they’re gonna be around for many years and it’s gonna be a pretty memorable performance by both, I’m quite sure of that.”

ARIZONA BLUE ANNOUNCE TOUR INFORMATION

Arizona Blue have announced that they will upgrade two of their UK tour dates in the two cities that have helped them lay the foundations of the band. The sold out UK tour has now two venue upgrades due to demand in London and Cardiff, where the additional tickets are selling fast.

The band, who are to set off for their biggest headline tour to date on June 13th with support from 8 Mile Rock will no longer be appearing in Camden Underworld on June 20th, they will instead play London Islington Academy and on the last date of the tour (June 23rd) the band are upgrading the room in Cardiff University from the new venue Cardiff Great Hall 2 to take stage to the second biggest room in the 4-venue building(s), they will now appear in Cardiff University Solus.

Arizona Blue have also announced details of a European tour, although have not yet announced any dates, however 21 year old guitarist Dan Johnson has been heard telling people that they will be embarking on their first European headline tour before Christmas 2012, more details to come on this soon.

BREAKING NEWS: DJ Cloud & Cinzia Ricci End Their Three Year Partnership, indefinitely.

Breaking news comes slamming into our Culture Uncut offices as confirmed reports of the official breaking up of multi platinum recording artist Cinzia Ricci and her disc jockey DJ Cloud breaking off their partnership, and apparently whatever relationship they've been having, but instead of this being an "on good terms" ending, the two are very bitter with eachother.

Sources close to us are telling us that for months Cinzia Ricci and Alex Van Roy (DJ Cloud) have been dating secretly so people wouldn't be so in tuned with their relationship as to their music, but somewhere recently things turned sour, or maybe a long a long time ago? Over the last year Cinzia Ricci has become one of the most well known musicians in the world with and her electrohouse tracks, her Italian accent or her slow and beautiful trance ballads spitting out countless number one's and hit singles throughout 2011 and moving into 2012. But the man behind most of it, was in fact DJ Cloud.

The pair met years ago before Cinzia made it big time where they began discussing becoming a pair and eventually went to become very successful not only as soloists but as a duo as well. Although DJ Cloud has never released a studio album.


Rumors are spreading that things turned sour when DJ Cloud teamed up with Giselle and took way too long to re-record her track "Breaking Point" with the pop star, and was getting closer and closer to her and in turned Cinzia Ricci got bitter about and flipped out, causing DJ Cloud to reach his "breaking point" and leave the Italian superstar. But we don't think that was the case

Other rumors flowing around is that Cinzia Ricci was getting tired of how controlling DJ Cloud was, seemingly tracking her every move and being way too over protective and in turn, Cinzia Ricci, actually up and left and made the move to end the partnership.

Even more, people are saying it was Cinzia who was too overprotective and DJ Cloud wanted to break off the partnership and got tired of Cinzia.

Recording or Performing Live?
Can I cheat and say both? It's hard to choose, if I didn't enjoy the songs I record then I wouldn't enjoy performing them. Recording is fun because it's just me and the boys messing around as usual. On stage is great too but that's mainly down to our crazy ass fans!

Morning or Evening?
Morning, I'm an early bird. I'm up at like 6:30 each day, mainly because we have a busy schedule but even on our days off I'm always up early. The others are so lazy.

What is your worst habit?
Being messing. Yeah I think that we need to get an extermination squad into my room with the amount of rubbish that's in it.

What is your favourite song of the moment?
Apart from ours? No, I kid.....eh I would have to say Another Pretty Lie by Jennifer Armstrong, a great song from a very talented woman and she's a close friend too.

What is your favourite song of all time?
Definitely 'Naked On Paper' by Katie Coyle, I adore Katie and that song!

What is your favourite musician/band?
Well like I said, Katie Coyle! I also really like Aaron Marks and Michelle Green too

What is your favourite movie?
Now that's a tough one. I love all types of movies but if I HAD to choose I would probably say Scream 2 or Liar Liar, both great films! Probably the two I watch most out of my mountain of DVD's.

What would be your perfect day?
Have a nice breakfast of sweet waffles on syrup, spend time with the boys maybe go out to lunch with them. Have a few drinks then watch a great movie before heading to bed to sleep for like 16 hours!

What is your best memory of your childhood?
Moving from Australia to the UK. I didn't care about the bad weather, I just remember meeting lots of great people when I moved here at 7 years old.

Tell us something nobody else knows about you?
I write with my right hand but whenever I'm doing a crossword or a wordsearch, I us my left......I have no idea why.

NADIA BERRY AND KATIE COYLE TARGETED BY INDONESIAN PROTEST GROUPS

"Records On" songstress Nadia Berry is set to continue her joint tour with superstar Katie Coyle as the pair hit Indonesia for their first show over there this Saturday. Despite the anticipation from excited fans, there are worries of whether the two shows planned in the country should go ahead. Nearing the time of the two shows in Surabaya and Jakarta, protest groups have been forming to try and put the concerts to a stop, and officers in their thousands are set to be there at both shows to stop things from getting out of hand.

"While the majority of people aren't exactly happy with both Nadia and Katie performing there, it seems to be Nadia getting targeted a lot of the time, especially for her more provocative image and lyrics compared to Katie," said a source. "These protest groups are threatening violence if these shows go ahead, and many fans are scared for the safety of both of them."

The leader of one of the protest groups stated, "We don't want them here. They're a bad influence and they're sent from the devil. Nadia shows a lot of skin and her lyrics are vulgar, and Katie's attitude is daring and uncalled for a great deal of the time. We will do everything we can to make sure these performances do not go ahead."

While Nadia and Katie have yet to comment on the situation, there have currently been no changes made to the shows, and both are still scheduled to perform.

Ryan: I'm not one to disrespect the religion or beliefs of anyone in the world, but are these people idiots? I know in their culture women probably have no rights, but that doesn't mean they have any right to try and stop a concert from happening. We're talking about a concert, which I've seen before, and it is not racy at all. Instead of imagining that these two are sent from the devil, why don't you try to fix the problems in your country? I'm sure there are things much more worthy of your time and dedication than protesting against a music concert.

Ryan: In the name of rock & roll, play your shows. If there are kids queued up to see you guys play, even if it's just a small amount, you should play it. Why break many excited fans' hearts, who paid for tickets to see you live over a group of folk stuck in the dark ages.

Rising solo star lands judging role on The X Factor Australia

It seems that there is no stopping the R&B songstress as Stefani Vola has landed a place on the judging panel of The X Factor Australia. The California girl who released her debut solo single in December recently relaunched her career by working on her debut album, pulling in help from the likes of artists such as Layla, Giselle, Isaac Lovelock, Benji Luna and Dominic Brown. Now it seems like the only way is up for Ms Vola as she will appear as a judge on the upcoming series of the hit talent show.

Stefani says she is delighted to be a part of the show and is looking forward to seeing all the talent the show has to offer;

"It is a great honour to be a part of such a huge show. I was shocked when they asked me to join the panel as it was totally unexpected and I didn't even know they were looking for a new judge. I enjoy watching Star Factory and hopefuy during my time on this show I will see the same level of talent and get to work with amazing singers like the ones of Star Factory". I obviously jumped at the chance and accepted the offer."

Stefani is also set to go on tour and perform the July dates of Alicia Lena's upcoming tour. The singer is a support act alongside Benji Luna (who also features on Vola's upcoming single 'Problems'). The future looks bright for Stefani as it seems she has finally been able to shake of the 'member of G2L' title and become her own person
