This is the second single of ElectroDeath most recent album ‘Bittersweet’, the same hit number one at the TOP Charts album this week and to celebrate another number one album, the band anticipated the release of this track as a single.
The track was remixed four times by different DJs around the world including its own producer mISTER_b, these four remix version will be package in a special limited CD release, with the original track and a censored version of the song too. Also all of the remixes and the original tracks will be available for download on ITunes.
The song will not be released at some countries of Asia and Europe. ElectroDeath’s last single was banish in some countries, and due to that E Records is facing lawsuits for not taking the warnings made by these countries governments and sending the song to radio instead of respecting the countries politic regime, so to avoid that, ElectroDeath will be releasing another single on Europe and Asia to promote sales on their last album.
The girls filmed a music video for the song with director Anthony Mandler and as the director said, they’re not taking the worlds ending as a theme for this video, going against all the speculations on a follow up to the band last video. He said:
‘It’s the first time I work with ElectroDeath, and I think we got in a unique concept for it, ElectroDeath is known for making crazy over produced videos, like ‘WICCA’ and ‘Holy Annihilation’, I suggested the girls to make something more rude and raw, and so we invited a couple of friends and fans, we went to this big farm and filmed it. It’s different but it’s cool, I’m not gonna disappoint ElectroDeath fans, I know they always wait big productions!’
The song Premieres June 2nd and the video will premiere June 9th.
Rolling Stone ReviewElectrodeath is back and doing what they know best! With the recently achievement of their new album, it’s time for the band promote it even more which means a second single FINALLY to be released. I have to confess that before these girls used to promote their music a lot more, but seems like they don’t have or they don’t want to do focus on over promoting their new material, anyway, the second single taken from ‘Bittersweet’ is ‘Don’t Give Fuck’ and we already can forecast a bunch of Countries forbidden this song on radio stations or any other music market just like happened with the last single released.
Does E Records have a plan to handle the situation? Well at least in America they won’t have to worry about any kind of censorship, even the bad word spelled in the track; it’s something we Americans are used to listen on other pop songs at the mainstream charts. But this song is not only a silly dubstep and house mix song with a bad word on it, NO, we can see the ‘old’ ElectroDeath on it, playing with our thoughts and forcing us to think about subjects that we don’t want to, this is something the band is used to do with their songs.
Technically the track has a pop structure, but there’re some sounds and distortions that makes it unique, despite it still remains a pop track. mISTER_b is the new DJ that came out of nowhere together with a bunch of other DJs and got a contract with the same label the band is (believe me, it’s not a coincidence), and he’s infecting ElectroDetah with his hardcore beats, giving the band’s fans a revival to the first years of ElectroDeath, long ago when the girls used to sing about teenagers pregnancy and we all thank him for that!
This song is something we all MUST have on our Ipods and Iphone or I - squeare or any I - device you have to listen music, it is fresh, it’s very danceable and there’s a big message behind it, of freedom and most important to not follow any roles society wants us to do, just because someone is doing that, the message here is to be who you want to be no matter what. ElectroDeath MASSIVE GAY fans are cheering right now! Just kidding I love this track, and I’ll be waiting a good music video!

Song DescriptionThis is a massive dance anthem song in the album, it’s the highlight of the entire album. It took production from mISTER_b and he was in a very good mood when he programmed the beats for this track. Here we got everything that a DJ can add to his song, we have house beats, a lot of dubstep , industrial sounds plus a dance pop drum sequence, making the song commercial but original at the same time.
It starts with a dance pop drums sequence plus a vocal effect on Magie’s that goes growing as till we can listen the song first lines. After second singing the song first verse, the song enters in a bridge melody made of house beats and dubstep drums, this culminates on the song’s chorus.
The song chorus is composed in two different keys, one is heavily and almost pure dubstep with frenetic drums and strong bass, the second key is made of keyboards riffs as high as the girls vocals, there’s also house beats and dance pop drums.
The second verse of the song is just like when it started seconds ago, but it’s shorter then before, and also the dubstep bridge is different from the first one, this second is more hardcore and intense letting the opportunity to mISTER_b shine and he does very well. After the intense dubstep break melody the song enters in a hook moment when it is almost slow down for a moment, but it just last the second before the regular chorus of the song comes back.
The song goes reaching the end as the final verse is sung and the first melodies played are back, but there are some variation on its sounds due to effects added to the song such as a house programmed sound and industrial effects. The song ends with a rap verse performed by himself, on the background of his verses there’s some sounds of wars, showing exactly the meaning of the song’s lyrics.
The main theme of the song is freedom of speech, the verses are sung fast in a rap tune, also the lyrics talks about how television and advertisements can control human’s opinions and behaviors.
Magie CommentsNowadays we’re attacked by media and advertisements and others people opinions all the time., it’s like we cannot do what we like, because someone thinks that it’s not right, or they’re telling on TV that this is something no one does. I hate that! How can I be happy if I cannot be myself and do things I love to do? I mean, I want a real life without thinking about what people are doing or talking about me. This is the message we wanted to share with our fans, so they can be free and live a live that they really enjoy.
I just hope this song will be spread to the whole world. I know some people hate our ‘freedom speech’ songs, but we’re not gonna slow down because they want, we were not raised by them, we were raised by our fans, we’re here because of them and while producing the last album I felt like they needed songs to talk strictly to their hearts! That was the directions we took at the creative process of it.
