Lelannd Blackwell, 22 was born in New York, New York in a gay community where his dad, Paul was a DJ at the local New York clubs and his mother, Sydney was a teacher at the local high school. Lelannd wasnt always the most boy like child. He is very feminate to be a guy and often carries himself like a female. He doesnt act like a female, but his less boyish ways was influenced by him being raised around five girls and him being the only boy. His father Paul will work nights at the local clubs that he DJed at. He always use to play with his sisters a lot, but never with girls toys, but often loved to play dress up with the girls. He use to play roleplay as if he was a fashion designer and put together outfits for his sisters at age six when he father started to see Lelandd and his ways of a girl. Paul will try and take Lelandd away from it, but kept going back because the love of his sisters. He will run away or sneak out of Paul's room to go play with his sisters, only because at age six he devoloped a creativy mind for clothes and music. Sydney started to see Lelandd watching fashion shows on TV and dancing to the music that had in the background of the show and moved his hips and upper body better than his older sisters. He started to dance more as he use to steal his father's party discs and teach dances and sing along to the song with his sisters. He will always make his sisters be his backgrond dancers and he will be the upman, the man of the show. He will carry a pink mic around with colorful clothing and fast paced music that was House and Dance-Pop. Paul didnt like Lelandd and his ways. So during his work hours, Paul started to take him to the club with him to spend more "manly" time with him at the age of nine. Lelandd couldnt help himself but get up and dance, moving with a fem way and moving naturally to the music. Everyone will wonder and scare at the kid. But he loved being there- one night, Lelandd heared a song called " Until the Doors Closed" and got up on the stage and started to dance at a small teenager lounge spot. He got up and started to move around stage, singing, putting on a stage. Many shows that he will put on. Never thought he had that sweet, high musicially voice he had. He discovered his talents..

His love for dancing and singing, drawing different characters and colorful scenes that made his happy. At age 10, he started to sing in local talent shows where everytime he will perform, his hands with shake with rhyhtem and his hips will more side to side. He started then to draw clothes, dresses and how he wanted his performances to be. Once he hit that stage- his outrages creative flamboyant vision of being a superstar in music popped in his mind of a big dream of his LIFE. Later at age 12, Lelandd started experience his sexual ways with males that made him write music based on his love experiences with guys. Paul didnt like this, Lelandd and Paul often had fights about how Lelandd act. Lelandd wasnt a average boy, he didnt play sports, he never went outside, he stayed inside and danced and sang around his room all day with a hairbrush and often looked himself in the mirror. His high pitched voice went in the outgoing, full of heart and love guy that only wanted to like who his liked, perform on stage and make music people can dance too. Paul had other dreams of him being a paid DJ or a basketball player. Sydney didnt approve of it and wanted Lelannd to follow his dreams. Later at age 12, Lelandd started to perfom at talent shows with his own material of music, but used beats other artist in the New York area had. People saw the uniquess in him and loved him for his outrages personality of music, dance and sex. Age 13, he started to devolop good looks that attracted more males and females. But he went with the males and started to have more sexual experiences with his neighbor. Paul found out and later left Sydney because of Lelannd.

Lelandd kept pushing to get discovered by record labels. He perfomed at severel talent shows and got signed by a New York label called BlackInk Records, but was dropped after his first single " Free as Mind" was released. Another record label at age 15, LightShine Records signed to a album deal. The album was never released. He was dropped six months later without a single being released. He kept pushing but at age 16, Lelandd found out he had a skin disorder that his skin reacts differenly by enviorments and different prouducts. Later before the age of 17, Paul found out he had a cancer but is still living today. At age 17, he had his first noticed boyfriend that he went public with his homosexuality and bought a guy home to mom. Mom wanted Lelandd to be happy. She didnt judge.

Graduading high school at age 18, top of his class, the smart wonder wanted to go full force with his dreams and still wanted to be the dance star he always wanted to be. He moved out to LA at age 19, leaving in LA for three years; Lelandd is recording music and hoping to get noticed soon as he works at the fashion house store in Hollywood and interning for a prouducer.
