The band consists of Rory Delaney, Chris Fielding, Zak Collins and George Edwards. The band have been supporting minor acts in pubs and small venues and have picked up a high reception for their witty and cocky attitudes, their high energy performances and their ability to perform and do what they love: playing music. The band got noticed when supporting a fellow minor London band by Taylor Asbridge, who has agreed to produce some of the band's work, including their upcoming EP: "Let's Skip The Minor Details" which is set for release in August 2012. All four members of the band met during their school days and formed topLADS after they all finished college. The band became one of the first bands to hit the top 10 in the Digital Charts while being unsigned, reaching #8 with their debut single, "Better Than Your Average Joe" which also hit peaks of #12 in the Airplay Charts and #3 in the Alternate/Indie Charts. The impressive start for the band landed them a record deal with Liberation/Nomad Records. They have also released their second single, "Good Morning" which went straight to #1 in the Digital Charts, marking topLADs first ever number one. So in other words, so far so good. :D Our first EP should be out soon, we're going to head into the studio later this month to start recording. We've wrote 6 songs that will be put onto it and some b-sides for the singles aswell, we may even release a single early next month. We're also working on getting a supporting spot for a UK tour sometime to promote the EP. :) -- Rory

Fair dos to him though, we asked him if he wanted to call the rest of the gig off and he told us to carry on. He's out of hospital now though, and he should be okay."

The band hit a massive high by ranking above massive artists and bands such as Weekend, Kato, Cristina Lake and Stephanie Fierce despite the band currently being unsigned and without a record deal. The great start for the band should likely bring the name 'topLADs' to the attention of a few record label owners over the next few weeks as they search to find a record deal that will suit to them. The single will be on topLADs upcoming EP, 'Let's Skip The Minor Details' but the band are not yet decided on whether the song will play a part on any album in the future, claiming that the world 'hasn't seen the best of them yet.' Following the success of 'Better Than Your Average Joe' the LADs had been approached by Liberation/Nomad Records, which led to the band penning down a two album deal.
