So, I was thinking that if someone makes an account that features other players' bands/artist, than they can make soundtracks for movies. That will make this game more thrilling, more than just music, and people can be actors and stuff like that.

No, because that wouldn't be the ROCKSTAR game.

Soundtracks would keep it to still be one.

Then we'd need movies and whatnot. I'm sure they have a movie game somewhere.

Why not just release a soundtrack as an album?

I do have an account ingame which I use especially for compilations etc., and that might include movie soundtracks - there's been movie roleplays, musicians sometimes get into movies (eg. Britney Spears in Crossroads). Yumi Takahashi roleplayed a movie, and I did two I think - Path Of Cat And Blood Of Life, and the one I forget the name of that was never finished, it was meant to be something like Confessions Of A Shopaholic but about a pop star.
But again, actual movies are strictly RP. The soundtracks could be released ingame, but that's as far as you could go.

That sounds like a viable venture for us RPers.

What if an account is made for the movies? That way we can see with the ratings like which is popular, which isn't. That way, we don't forget the movies.

Oh wait, do you mean those shitty "Music from/inspired by" compilations with like five songs that appeared in the background and a bunch of other shitty similar songs from the same label thrown on there for good measure, rather than actual scored music?

Yes. I'll admit to finding the movie rather bland, really nothing to it apart from "Britney's in it".
There are musicians who could make a better film though. Like - me for example. :P

I never watched either, but I'm going to guess it may have been at least a little bit better than "Glitter."

I really thought he was going to make it through Highway, but sure enough, they had to crush his legs at the end.

I'm starting to agree what Death Cab for Cutie said about Jared Leto -- "He's a professional actor in music; so there's no way to feel any sincerity about his position as a musician… Because he makes a living playing characters — so why wouldn't he be able to take a step forward? Then you're also acting what you think a rock star should act like."
