Scott looked down at the two staring at each other before Bailey closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. He smiled and stroked her cheek gently with his finger. "She must be tired. She's been worried about her mummy. She can relax now that you're feeling better. Now that she's in your arms at last." Scott kisses Gia gently and thinks. Time had almost become a non-existent reality for him these past days as he sat in silence. "Umm...just under three days," he said softly.

Scott nods a little and holds her hand. "I thought we were going to lose you babe. They even asked what to do if the worst came to the worst and if they were to save you or Bailey." He sighs. "I was so scared. Seriously."
He strokes her hand softly. "Sophie's safe too. She's with that Ash....Ansley girl."

Scott nods slowly. "Yeah I know. And I'm so glad you are. It was...awful. the worst moment of my life having to carry you in here like that." He smiles now. "But now our whole family is safe and happy."
He shakes his head. "Soph hasn't been in. I didn't want her to have to see you like that . Especially not when she's starting to pick up on things now. I wanted to protect her. She's gonna love Bailey though."
Scott kisses Gia. "She is. She's amazing. So well behaved and quiet. Layla sat with me yesterday and she kept saying how much Bailey is like half and half me and you."

Scott sighs. "So did I. He was really trying. But hey...I...turned the tables on that potential death I suppose." He squeezes her hand. "You're not a terrible wife. You're brilliant. I know you would never really wish those things on me. It was just a really scary and stressful night. We were both scared."
He smiles. "Sophie was talking to me on the phone though. She can still only say your name though and it kept making me cry when she was saying it over and over again. She loves you so much.
" Scott nods. "Layla was here. She sat for a long time yesterday with me. I wasn't even great company at all but she stayed here just to make sure I wasn't alone. You also had visits from the Merjos guys. I didn't even leave when Hayden came in. And Nevaeh was here for a while, and Cassie too."
Scott strokes Bailey's tiny cheek. "She's absolutely beautiful. I dunno when they'll let you go home though babe. Why?"

"I know." He thinks for a second and then whispers "I killed him," while staring at the floor.

Scott then nods. "Yeah all your friends were here. Cassie even cried. She said it was because you were the best bitch she had ever known and the only one who could rival her and she was sad to see you like that. Your parents? I haven't seen them or Nate yet babe sorry." He chuckles: "Well...I dunno, but she loves her mummy so much. It would be nice if she could say my name, but she'll learn, she's a clever girl." He smiles at her.

Scott holds her hand and sits down. "You'll be able to go home soon babe. You can lie in bed and I'll buy you a big ol' bag of cinnamon rolls yeah?" He smiles and kisses her hand. "I love you so much."

Scott looks at the ground, sighing and looking at nothing in particular. He rubs his face. "Yeah...for real this time. I took his knife, and I stuck it through his heart. There was blood everywhere, I watched the life drain away from him. And then I stamped on the handle of the knife...it was like his whole chest caved in." He sighs deeply. "He was definitely not coming back this time. He clears his throat. "Yeah I heard about that wedding. She's a total idiot for marrying a guy she's known for about a week and a half or something. She's crazy."

He nods a little. "Yeah, I know. They should have been here, but I'm sure they'll come to see her sometime. Do they know you were due?" He looks shocked. "Whhaaaaat? You? No cinnamon rolls? Wow...who are you and what did you do with my wife?!" He laughs.

Scott nods. "I'm sorry...I just wanted you to know he's gone. I didn't mean to gross you out babe. We never have to worry about him again though. No more fear ever for us. Just a bright future."

Scott laughs, he had never liked Andrea anyway. "Wasn't she engaged to Katie as well? I think she is the very definition of diving into shit too quickly. She really is rubbish. In general. You mean you won't be helping her anymore? Apparently she invited Katie to her wedding and got mad when Katie said she couldn't go. How insensitive is that?"

He laughs and looks down at Bailey. "Well all I can tell you is that this little one loves her milk. She drinks loads. The nurses were really pleased with how much she takes. She's gonna be growing up really well. Oh yeah...I was supposed to ask babe. Are you gonna...you know....breast feed Bailey?"

Scott smiles. "No problem babe. Why do you think I didn't like her? I always knew her shit about wanting to be in Sophie's life would be bullshit as soon as another guy comes around. You know what? Having a baby a year after she had to give one up is disgusting too. Sophie got lucky to get away from her and find some responsible, caring and loving people to care for her." He kisses Gia.

Scott laughs when she says sore boobs. "It's up to you babe. But the nurse told me that it's the best way to feed a baby because of the nutrients in it and stuff. She also said that the bond between the mummy and the baby is much stronger if they have breastfed. But if you don't want to it's totally fine." He smiles and looks down at Bailey. "Who got lucky to have the two hottest sets of genes in the world, huh Bailey? She's such a beautiful little thing Gi. She's perfect."

Scott nods. "No, she really isn't. She is nothing to Sophie. You are her mother. Not Andrea. She doesn't even come into it at all. She is no one. Let us just forget about her though, right?" he smiles. He chuckles at her breast feeding comment again. "Haha I guess yeah. You know a few other mothers though don't you? Why don't you ask like Cassie or something if they do it? Or even Katie!" He laughs. "But babe, it will be fine. I'm sure no one would do it if it was all that bad. And it'll be great for little Bailey in the long run. She'll love you forever and ever for that little bit of help in her early life. He reaches down to stroke Bailey's head. "It's funny how she has so much hair. Sophie was bald when we got her. Like a snooker ball."

Scott smiles. "Yeah she had like a little tuft of hair. But Bailey has loads of dark brown hair...given the colour of hair we both have though, I think she was always going to have that." He smirks. "Well you know she's going to be gorgeous....her dad has won the last two sexiest male awards after all. And her mum looks pretty decent too actually." He laughs. "I can't wait til both or girls grow up and make us proud Gi." He walks to the bedside cabinet and comes back with her phone, switching it on for her.
