"Glamorous Life", the first single from Giselle's yet to be titled fourth studio album; unveils a different sound than her "cold, and robotic" previous album. The song largely inspired by the notorious lifestyles of the rich & famous, gives a different side to fame--the much darker side. The song was written by Giselle, and produced by long time collaborator CoNtr0V3rsy. The song follows the direction of the album, which will be largely be based on fame and the modern celebrity from an outside perspective. Giselle wrote the song while on tour, and looking at all the reckless celebrities. And the seemingly had one thing in common--they all seemed to cry for help. A help for either love, friends, or family; which draws back to the question of whether money actually buys happiness. The song specifically speaks of a woman who has it all, according to the outside. But in the inside, she's miserable and buys expensive things to make her feel happy, but this happiness is short and fleeting. Which makes her look for look for love in all the wrong places, and eventually alcohol abuse. The album will be based on this character, as we watch her rise and fall from fame. Giselle was reluctant to release singles, because she felt this would ruin concept of the album. But eventually decided it was alright to do so.

Instrumental sounds like...
"Glamorous Life" is completely different from Giselle's last album "Robot Lover". The song tacks on a more warmer tone, with dominant synthesizers and bass line. The instrumental gives a contrast to Giselle's voice, which is sung softly, in an lullaby sort of way. Giselle wanted the song to sound like diamonds in a melody, yet laid back and soft. The song was lyrically inspired by the work of Prince, one of Giselle's idols. It also changes the chorus from English to French, Giselle decided to do this after writing the line "vacations in Saint-Tropez". After seeing how well it fitted, she kept it. The French line serves as the bridge and is spoken in a soft voice. Many of the lyrics are based on Classic Hollywood films such as "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", and and various other pop culture phrases.
Check out the shoes she's wearing
And the diamonds on her earrings
She's living the life
Vacations in Saint-Tropez,
And sprees at Tiffany's
Diamonds are her best friend
Love is her enemy
She looks for love in all the wrong places
And drinks to take the pain away
Shes living the life baby
Shes got the money and fame
Shes got the glamorous life
The glamorous life
Glamorous, glamorous, glamorous
Shes living the life baby
Shes got the money and fame
Shes got the glamorous life
The glamorous life
Glamorous, glamorous, glamorous
Shes a material girl ya know,
And they say money can't buy love
But her love costs money
She dont care, she's all about the spotlight
The lime light that makes you so beautiful
But shes lonely, and diamonds can only do so much.
Shes living the life baby
Shes got the money and fame
Shes got the glamorous life
The glamorous life
Glamorous, glamorous, glamorous
Shes living the life baby
Shes got the money and fame
Shes got the glamorous life
The glamorous life
Glamorous, glamorous, glamorous
Elle vit la vie de l'enfant
Elle a obtenu l'argent et la gloire
Elle a la vie glamour
La durée de vie glamour
Glamour, glamour, glamour
What happens when the fame is gone?
When no one screams your name?
When no one cares if you're dead or alive
The glitz and glam can last so long,
but you only have yourself in the end
And that's stronger than any diamond on earth
Shes living the life baby
Shes got the money and fame
Shes got the glamorous life
The glamorous life
The glamorous life (glamorous life)
The song is expected to be released on July 18th, on radio and digital.
