"Get In Line" is the first song by Barbarian and will be released as the first single off her debut album "ID". The song was written by Barbarian and produced by Daniel.

"In terms of sound I really chose this song as the first single because it is something fun and something different from what's out right now. I think a lot of songs are suffering from the dubstep and grime disease but this song goes totally against that. I think that it has character and it's not something you might love first listen, but eventually you can groove.

This song totally describes the moment when you break up with a guy, and all you want to feel is free because those last moments in the relationship really took a toll on you. Most girls usually cry, get ugly, and suffer after a break up but I tend to take a different approach and this song really captures that. For example, you go out to a club after dealing with break up, usually most women grow desperate, and in top of that you have all these men just trying to claim you because you're now free obviously and "ready to mingle". But trying to find love in a club is probably the dumbest move a girl can make, and being aware and confident is the key. Sometimes we do it unconsciously but basically in this song I ain't making that mistake and I'm telling the boys to get in line, cause no one is gonna get a hold on me. I wanted the song to have a reggae, ska, tribal chant sort of feel, it's really liberating.

Kato: I like the preview, but I wanna hear the rest! :P It's definitely a great start because it sounds original and different than what's out right now.

erich: is it wrong that i love finding girls like that in clubs?

karoliena: not at all. mainly because you are not the heartless player you seem to think you are. sitting there, buying them drinks, listening to their sob stories, then driving them home, isnt the idea.

erich: it's not?! but i say "let me drive you home" ,and give a nefarious laugh,as i drive like a maniac...and my ride doesnt have safety belts. it's a death trap. what else am i supposed to do?

karoliena: usually have your way with the now suitably drunk and looking for revenge love, girl.

erich: ...isnt that sorta slimy and bad for one's karma?

karoliena: like i said, you're doing it wrong.

erich: the chances of an accident are very slim,so luck is on our side. but if a wreck were to happen....a '32 ford has all the structural integrity of a beer can. so we can only hope it would be quick and painless.
