NEW SINGLE

ElectroDeath new single from ‘Bittersweet’, is the down tempo dub step song ‘Lies’. The song will be officially release July 30th Monday, worldwidely. Also the single will receive a remix EP next week exclusively on ITunes and ElectroDeath will give a special performance of the song on Ellen DeGeneres where also they’ll be revealing details on the upcoming World Domination Tour.

Bittersweet recently reached double platinum status and also peaked at number one in 20 countries including the world wide charts’ Top 20 Heat Album Charts’, the two firsts ingles released from this album both reached platinum status and also peaked under the top 5 of the world widely airplay charts. In total ElectroDeath sold over a combined 60 million copies of albums and singles and the girls complete 15 years of career this year, they plan to celebrate with the world tour.

The song will receive a music video that already had been filmed by the girls with a very special guest in the lead role of the video. Rumors, that the actress of the video is not an actual actress but longtime ElectroDeath’s friend Cinzia Ricci. The video will in August on Music Box and was confirmed to be a 10 minutes long short film.

Song Description

A electronic riff is played, slowly and soft as the song’s introduction melody, this sound is increased seconds after with the addition of bass and synth keyboards notes, giving the song a sexy feel. When the dubstep drum sequence starts, Magie sings the first strophe of the song too. During the first verse of the song there’re plenty of industrial and electronic effects, some of them in high tune and others in very low key.

Before the chorus there’s a stop melody moment, where nothing is spelled or played just to anticipate the strong and powerful chorus. The chorus structure is composed of pure dubstep beats with soma R&B drums inspired sequence. The song is mid tempo, making it very sexy and lazy ate the same time, but it is still strong and very dramatic too.

The second verse it’s almost like the first verse melody except the addition of a loud synth pop riff that only helps the song to become sexier than it was before. The second chorus has the same melodies as the first too, but behind the original melodies a dramatic violin sound can be heard, this mixed with Magie and Lilly’s voice transform the song in a great ballad.

There’s a break melody moment in the song, where the dubstep comes stronger and the girls vocals are totally distorted, so they can be used as sound effects to the strong dubstep break melody moment.

The last chorus of the song is just exactly the second chorus, the vocals are still the same but now it seems to be louder and more desperate then the girls were singing before. This is a great track overall, a highlight on the album for sure, it is strong and mid tempo, we all know that ElectroDeath are made of ballads too, but with this tune they transformed a ballad into something new and more contemporary on their own safe electronic territory.

The song lyrics are about discovering the truth behind an angel face, or a person that you thought you knew someday. So there’s this kind of talking the girls are having with their love interests when they’re saying that after all the lies they cannot be together anymore.

Lilly Comments

We’re made of ballads too. I love this track, it was supposed to be slower than it is, but actually I think mISTER_b did a great job my slowing those dubstep beats. When we were writing songs for this album I told Magie that our fans wait a ballad from us, but when we got all the song together we did not feel like having a piano song in the album.

So we showed mISTER_b, the song in the piano and he said that the lyrics were strong enough to make a mid tempo song and also, why not using dubstep on it? We had no idea of what he was trying to do, so we let him come up with the song the day after, and so he did, he came with something more faster than we wanted but definitely we would make this song, a mid tempo song with dubstep.

We just talked a bit more and changed the tempo of the song and added some effects on it, and it ended up being what it is now. We feel so proud about all these songs.

Also the lyrics of this song is something to look for, we have this massive break up talk on it, like if one you’ll ever need to tell something for someone because you were cheated or fooled, you can totally sing ‘Lies’ for him or her. LOL

Sounds Like

The video starts with Cinzia wearing a sexy black catsuit as she attempts to invade a big manor in a calm neighbor somewhere in UK. She extremely sexy and she’s climbing the big walls of this manor the same times she’s receiving coordinates from a sort of device where Magie appears telling Cinzia what to do.



She manages to enter the Manor and there she finds out that she had activated the security system of the manor, that’s the moment for Cinzia to show all her skills in evading lasers. The hall of the manor is full of red lasers, Cinzia throws a piece of paper to see how much strong are the lasers, when the paper reaches the laser it pulverizes the paper, Cinzia takes her spy device to talk again with Magie and then she dances a sort of choreography which leads her to evade all lasers from that room and help her to reach the stairs of the manor.



After the laser room, Cinzia is in the second floor, where she’s surrounded by submachine guns coming from the walls of the corridor, she has no choice but to run faster than them, so she can easily leave the corridor without any damage, so the whole scene happens in slow motion, Cinzia runs fast and the corridor is completely destroyed by the submachine guns leaving a mess, by the end of the corridor Cinzia looks back to the mess, she smiles sarcastically and she grabs again her spy device so she can report to Magie her progress in the mission.



Out of the corridor, Cinzia was heading to a door and that’s the moment she started to creepy smile. She was getting close to the main objective of the mission, when she was in front of the door, she hesitates for a second, taking a deep breath facing the door and opening it slowly, step by step she was entering the room, which is a bedroom, in the bed there’s a handsome man sleeping, he’s only in his underwear, the music stops, Cinzia gest really close to his ears, she than whispers…



‘I love you babe’

After the phrase Cinzia takes a gun and shoots the man in the head, Blood is spread all over the place even on Cinzia’s face, the scene focus on her face and a tear stream down her eyes, she than receives a call from Magie, and the alarm of the manor is activated, she knows that she has to get out of there, but before she leaves, she looks at the pictures on the nightstands near the bed, there’s a picture of the man she killed and a beautiful woman, she smiles the same time she drops another photograph over the man’s dead body and finally she jumps out of the window.
The scene shows the photograph she left for the man over his body, it’s her and he, that man was her boyfriend or something like that, the letters R.I.P CLOUD is written on the photo.



Moments after she escaped the manor, she meets Magie and Lilly on the streets, the girls were waiting for her in a black car, she enters the car she stares at Magie and Lilly by the car’s rearview mirror, she slightly smiles for them, Magie turns the car and run faster far away from that street. The song ends...
