I know a couple who are getting married on Saturday and then going to T later that evening for the Nine Inch Nails action.

Must've costed her a fortune! Those tickets are hard to get this year. I'm going with two friends and my cousin.

The Mars Volta and Mogwai, that's about all I'd be interested in. And I've seen both in better situations than crammed onto an outdoor festival bill.

You Me at Six, The Horrors, The Maccabees, Peter Doherty, Unicorn Kid - all good fun to see.

Though, the likes of Go:Audio and My Passion really bring the festival down haha. Oh and Kings of Leon are headlining. It's just wrong.

Lots of good stuff and lots of bleh. I'm also getting pretty tired of the Lady Gaga fad, isn't this a rock show? Putting some of these names on the same poster with some of the other names is about as ridiculous as Brokencyde and Millionaires on the Warped Tour.

A good example, I'm not a Nine Inch Nails fan, but since when do they share a stage with Katy Perry?

Ok, I'm sick of you guys insulting Pop music, quit it otherwise their is going to be some serious problems. Rock/metal music doesn't own the forums.

How did flipside insult pop? She just said Lady Gaga didn't belong on the show because it's a rock show which is completely true.

Listen, I don't want to start a whole big shit about this. Is insulting because he is pointing out Pop artists. (Isn't this a rock show) Obviously it isn't a rock show, if Lady Gaga is playing.
I feel like the whole segregation with Rock & Pop music is insulting and offensive. Quit it or like I said there is going to be some big problems.

Edit: Like I said on the Forum Band-aid, I'm done with this conversation unless it is necessary to keep going.

The segregation is - sadly - existant, obvious, and probably will continue to be as such though.

Those are my two pence anyhow.

A girl that appreciates pop who is going to say no more about that part, because I'm going to end up telling it like it is. I can only take so much more.

Yeah, I am horrified (about NIN and Katy Perry on the same stage), Lady Gaga...I'll say no more, eeeeek.

All I'd really care to see is NIN, Eagles of Death Metal and Nick Cave....also We Were Promised Jetpacks..if just for the name. Coolest band name ever.

The Manics are utter shite these days. Fuck them for sucking so much :(

And T is not a rock festival. It never has been. It's a music festival. We have those in this country, and they are often very, very diverse. Catering for fans of everything. There was the year that the Carling Weekend had Daphne & Celeste (remember them? Unlucky you!) on immediately before Slipknot...
