Hey guys. You're all looking very handsome. Are you looking forward to tonight?

Rory:
Hello, you're not looking too bad yourself. But yeah, we're stoked about this, it's our first awards ceremony and we've got the chance of two awards between the band so it's a great feeling and we're thinking positively on all this and we're confident that we'll have a chance of leaving with two awards.

George:
Personally I don't agree when people come to these awards and say that "I've got no chance against such good opposition" and stuff. I mean, of course there's nominees better than us in this ceremony but this is the Fans Choice Awards. The fans choose who they want to win these awards and following receiving a number 1, we must be popular with the fans. The awards are voted on personal preference so it's anyone's ballgame.

So you're up for Best Newcomer and Rory, you're also up for Sexiest Male. How does it feel being nominated when it seems like you just arrived on the scene yesterday?

Rory:
It's really been incredible, we've been around in the public eye for what?... Two months now?... And we've already made a name for ourselves. But to think about it, if we'd been around longer we wouldn't even be eligible for Best Newcomer and a Sexiest Male award can be decided in a glance, doesn't take a long time of being around to decide whether you think someone's sexy. But it's truly amazing to come into our first awards ceremony with two nominations.

There is some stiff competition. Who do you think is your biggest threat? Also, do you think you'll manage to shake them off and walk away with the awards?

Rory:
Well, like George said, it's all voted on personal preference. We've got as much of a chance as anybody else on the nomination list. Not everyone's gonna love our music, not everyone is going to think I'm sexier than the others. Some people will think that, no doubt. But people have different favourites, tastes and preferences so personally I cannot say who our biggest threat is. Although I think if it's not us winning Best Newcomer, it'll be Luke Striker. And if I'm not winning Sexiest Male, I hope it's Billy.

Which performances are you looking forward to most?

Rory:
Well, if anything I'm intrigued about who the mystery performer is. So I'm excited to see who that will be. I'm sure if they're keeping a surprise about who's performing it must be something special, so I'm looking forward to seeing that. Also I'm looking forward to seeing Jason Smith, Katie Coyle and Brandon Caulfield.

Serenity is here tonight, is there still bad blood between you? Have you spoke to her tonight?

Rory:
Yeah, there's still bad blood and nothing's going to get resolved. I don't like her and I'm not gonna change my opinion of her, and you won't catch me talking to her tonight.

Speaking of who's attending, Billy Khan isn't here to help you out with a few drinks. Will that stop you from hitting the bar later?

Rory:
Of course not, I'm disappointed that he won't be here but it won't stop me from having a few with the LADs. We'll definitely be having a pissup tonight. You can join in if you want haha.

For topLADS fans out there, including myself, when can we expect an album to drop?

Rory:
We've got our debut EP hitting the shelves at the end of the month, but we're not gonna have an album out until December time. We've finished recording the EP and we're in the final stages of the album. It's all going well though and you'll definitely be pleased by the album. It's gonna be great.

With the success you've been having the money's been pouring, I'm curious....what was the first thing you all bought with your first big paychecks?

Rory:
Food and alcohol, that's all we've bought recently. We've been on tour so we've not had chance to buy stuff yet. Might get ourselves a nicer tourbus, gear and stuff. The money will all go towards our everyday essentials and music gear.

Finally, do you have a message for your fans out there who have been supporting you and been voting for you?

Rory:
Well, on behalf of the band I'd like to thank everyone who has been buying our music, voting us at these awards and coming to see us live. We wouldn't have been able to do all of this without the support we've been getting. So once again, thanks.
